Working at Texas Health Care was like standing on pins and needles. You never knew if superior like you on that day they had their favorites and it showed I learned not to trust your employees and do not help them. Management was horrible they really needing more training they did not treat employees equal. Hardest part of the job was being able to request time off in advance they called it a wish list. And not having back up when needed . The best part of the job was interaction with patients I loved my patients it was important for their call to the office and I was the first person they would speak to I enjoyed helping them and I was the last person they spoke to. Tx health care has a huge turnover can’t keep employees they like to terminate often for any reason if you weren’t on the superior favorite list your work day would be miserable The pay was not enough for the work they wanted you to do 

I was a personal Medical Assistant for two busy Trauma and General Surgeons who work for the county hospital. My responsibility for both surgeons were to perform a routine patient care established, policies and procedure. I will also perform a organization and clerical functions as assigned by physician ( making appointment, chart management, telephone calls, etc). I will also have to make sure to explain purpose and process of examinations tests and medical procedures to the patient before surgery.
       While in clinic I will take vitals signs, height, weight, etc. I had to assist medical physician with procedures and minor surgeries. That include making sure patient is prep and sterilize for minor surgery before physician walks in the room. I will scrub down to assist the physician. As we are done I will make sure instrument get sterilize and clean the room to maintain a clean work area.

I intervied for a CMA position I had no clue until the day I did orientation they put me as the lead medical assistant. Last night I was fired for not knowing how to do the lead medical assistant position this company is very shady and when you think your doing a great job they will shock you and fire you I am so upset and heartbroken this came out of no where everyone acted like everything was ok . No one trained me I was to fend for myself from the very beginning . HORRIBLE horrible experience the Doctors seem so happy and thankful for your service but trust me that is just an ACT 

Depending on the location, you can have really poor management. You don't get sick time, maternity leave, bereavement, this all comes out of accrued PTO. Nothing is separate. No holiday pay, and they play favorites and it shows. If you're not one of the ones management likes then prepare to have a target on your back. There's no raises, basically ever. If you're the one they're mad at you spend most of the time in trouble for random stuff. I would never recommend this to anyone.

You get over worked and always understaffed with lots of turn around

Chaos. Hectic. Sometime disorganized

Nepotism at it's finest with this company. They do not value their employees. Human Resources staff are extremely rude and refer to everyone as idiots. Doctors are rude and I personally would not trust these physicians with my health care needs. This company is a revolving door, they can not keep staff due to underpaying employees. They do not want to help new grads start their careers. WORST COMPANY EVER, TAKE MY ADVICE AND STAY AWAY! 

RAN DAILY REPORTS AND RESOLVED ANY FINANCIAL ISSUES BETWEEN INSURANCE AND PATIENTS. MANAGEMENT WAS VERY EFFECTIVE IN COMMUNICATION AND KEEPING US UP TO DATE WITH CHANGES AND TIMELY PROJECTS. THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF THE JOB WAS TO BE ABLE TO REACH AND CONNECT WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND SOLVING THEIR FINANCIAL ISSUES. EDUCATING THEM ON THEIR INSURANCE POLICIES. THE COMPANY WAS LIKE FAMILY A VERY CLOSE KNIT GROUP.

Good company overall, they have a few rotten apples that need to be taken out but since they have been there so long no one will confront, other than that, I loved working there and everyone was very polite. Only bad thing is when you’re a float everyone wants to critique your work but they don’t look at how many mistakes people that have been there we’re making , regardless of the bad little people there it is a great company to be in.

I loved my job and Texas Health Care.  The employees were friendly and always willing to help.  I learned how to work as a team with staff and as far as my patients, listening to them and letting them know you care about what's going on with them helps them to trust you more.  The best part of the job was working with the patients and establishing a relationship with them.

This job started out great and quickly went down hill. Many of the office staff are unpleasant and unprofessional.  There was no common curtousy.  Supervisors were bullies and played favorites.  There was a large turn over because raises were not given.
