I enjoyed my time of working at the Bridge as a clinical therapist. Each day brought on a new experience. I enjoyed not knowing what the next day would bring. While working at the Bridge I gained a wealth of knowledge regarding substance use and working with adolescents. The work culture was caring and appreciative of staff. I felt supported by management. The most difficult part of the job was having to use the Carelogic system. I feel that it was not the most user-friendly and that it constantly changed. The most valuable part of the job was being able to be heavily involved with the clients and their families. Being able to see the impact of Bridge staff onto the clients & families  was rewarding work. 

Overall, I am grateful for the learning experience provided by the Bridge. I would definitely recommended working there if you enjoy fast-paced, flexible, and rewarding work. 

This place does not care for their employees. The building is not up to health standards. And hasnt been for months. They said they was going to make repairs but that has yet to be done.  Its mold in the building, junk everywhere, smells like sewer and old trash in the building. They expect you to come to work but cannot provide you with a clean building to report to. The pay is not worth it, you have to work everyday in order to get a decent check. They send you out to bad neighborhoods at night and half of the time the information you receive from the case managers/ therapists do not be correct. They never have the correct number or address to contact the families cause they expect the trackers to get it for them. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Management is the best. Flexible hours and the opportunity to put your stamp on your job. 


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Helping others can sometimes be rewarding and overwhelming at times. If you can manage your mental health while keeping up with the fast pace of the job you will enjoy it. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fast pace work environment with a diverse culture. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
To monitor the client while he's in the program. Assist the client and/or family with case management needs. Prepare and maintain the daily paperwork.

This is a wonderful place to gain experience and work with a great team. Communication is excellent and everybody I interacted with was professional and friendly.
If you're an ALC working toward earning your LPC, there are opportunities to get a lot of direct individual and group counseling hours, and there are options to help cover the costs of LPC supervision.
It is evident that everybody there has a heart for what they are doing and are devoted to the company's mission of providing treatment opportunities to adolescents that inspire hope and promote positive, lasting change.

When you work day and night the company does not support you if you get sick at work.  I caught COVID and have long term symptoms due to the brain bleed it gave me.  Now they don't seem to understand or care that I have a disabilty and get fatigued easy.  No help with getting the ADA requirments to help me with the job I do.  They call employees, email and text on off days and do not want you to bill for that time.  They call employees while they are on vacation or sick leave to do meetings and threaten them or write them up while they are on personal time.

The Bridge has proven to be a company that cares about it's employees.  Management has provided every opportunity for growth and supplied all materials necessary to fully learn what is necessary for this position. Deadlines and projects are always thoroughly discussed, so there are never any awkward surprises.  Communication is key.  I feel like there is a great relay of communication here.  
The flexible work hours and helpful coworkers have truly made my working experience fantastic.    I really do enjoy my job, coworkers and bosses.  The Bridge is a great place to work.  

Assist management and counselors with transportation and monitoring clients behavior.
Clients mostly unmanageable due to lack of structured lifestyles and exposure to illegal activities by peers.
Management practices too arbitrary for comfort.
Cooperate with counselors and management in drug treatment for minors referred either by courts or parental intervention programs.
Seeing the ineffectiveness of program's results.
The few clients who have gone on to lead productive lives.

There were not enough employees and not enough hours in the day to effectively manage our caseloads. There was a lot of pressure from management to increase our number of clients, even if we were above the state standard. Most of my job stress came not from the clients, but from management. I enjoyed working with the clients very much, but often felt like I was having to choose between time with them and the massive amount of paperwork/EMR documentation that I had to do.

It's very rewarding to see traumatized youths get the help they need to succeed in school, repair broken relationships and get free from the criminal justice system. 

It's tough to hear some of these kids stories. It's rough when you hear of a former client that has relapsed or worse overdosed and died. The successes is what you learn to celebrate and thankfully they outweigh the losses.  

I have worked at the Bridge for the past 6 years. I have enjoyed and valued my time working for this company. I was supported in my role as a clinician and also offered invaluable opportunities for clinical advancement and education. The supervision and support of my superiors was always top notch. I would refer this company to anyone that has a heart for youth and their families. They need good people to provide services for those in need.
