- Scholarship Management
• Managed, maintained and assisted in the creation of the TMCF scholarship database and online application.
• Supervised all TMCF scholarship programs: examination, identification, planning, agreements with donors and the management of an annual scholarship budget of 2.3 million dollars which service an average of 500 students
• Guarantee scholarship funding was awarded by specific individual scholarship criteria’s
• Disseminated all new scholarship program information throughout the member school campuses. Preserved effective relationships with campus scholarship coordinators, scholarship donors, and scholarship selection committee
• Ensured effective monitoring and evaluation of semester-to-semester recertification process.
- Marketing Initiative
• Ensured effective campus promotion of scholarship and other programmatic materials by utilizing campus scholarship coordinator, financial aid directors, and student ambassadors
• Assisted with all printed and electronic marketing materials regarding annual scholarship programs
• Created reports annually to direct donor, government officials, and university presidents regarding unique scholarships
• Managed 47 campus scholarship coordinator’s regarding company scholarships programming
• Participated in area high school, university and community scholarship fair presentations

• Administered Outbound Conference Mailing and Invoicing
• Handled Monthly Departmental Amex and Expense Reports

Busy but fulfilling. Team meetings, customer service, and collaborative projects. Working with students, parents and schools, helping to ensure students navigate through the scholarship application process.

Thurgood Marshall College Fund provided an excellent opportunity to network and gain exposure to many sponsors and employers for top- companies worldwide. This job allowed for a platform to recruit top achieving students and  talents and travel to Leadership & development conferences to assist with gaining skills and knowledge to transition from student to professional.

Everthing was great Thurgood Marshall College Fund is a organization that helps college students who attend certain HBCUs with internships. My internship was great everyone was kind they helped me when i made mistakes they also gave me feedback whether good or bad. In it had a family vibe.

I was an intern with the Thurgood Marshall College Foundation in the summer of 2016. I enjoyed my days there as it helped me become a better teacher and learn to deal with situations that might occur in class.
