I have been with this company for many years at first I thought it was the management so I moved to a different location, management was way better but found out the hard way these people don't care about the "small people" everything is very one sided managers and doctors are free to come and go as you please but god forbid you clock out 5 minutes early ( which your aloud to do) they try to make you use your CTO (Combined time off) for work engagements and they don't let you take your 2 10 minute breaks and they make you take a full hour of lunch even if your leaving early for the day. had to use all CTO for COVID furlough which wasn't the employees fault otherwise you didn't get a full paycheck, they value the employees at the hospital more then the employees at the offices.  you get passed up for opportunities to be moved up in the company even though you very qualified for the position. They only reason I'm still here is because I busted my butt to get the pay I'm at now which still isn't a lot of money, but these jobs are starting at a lower rate for what I'm worth. Definitely Looking for another job and they have made me question my career choice all together. 

Needs better management and need doctors that care about their medical Assistant instead of mistreating them. Pay is trash, you don’t get sick days, no paid holidays, everything comes out of your CTO time. A lot of favoritism goes on. Theirs no room for growth. It has a big turn over which makes the company look bad. When you first start at the company they bounce you around with different providers until another Medical Assistant leave the job and the provider will become your permanent provider. The raise they give is trash you don’t see it on your check and we don’t get bonuses. Location 3333 Skypark Drive Suite 100

The management is horrible and does not care. The receptionist are on their phone all day and do nothing. They make you use CTO for holidays where the clinics are closed in order to get paid. You cannot get time off because they will not hire enough staff so instead everyone calls off. If anything happens, management ignores everything and everyone. 

Worst company to work for, Horrible management and no ten minute breaks allow. In the two years I worked here I watched so many assistants leave the company due to poor management. Human Resources and higher ups don’t care about you as long as we make them look good and they get their bonuses. 

you have to use your own cto for holidays. if someone leaves work due to emergency and have to be off for months they wont get help. and they don't care your over loaded with work 
they will still nag at you for not returning calls when your over worked 

Great Company but horrible work environment, co workers that train you are not very helpful and get annoyed when you ask questions. Management is horrible with feedback so when you think you're doing a good job when in reality you are not but you have no way of knowing because the communication is awful.

Over worked, management has a lot of favoritism. Their way or the highway don’t matter if it’s the same outcome. Director of operations are no help. They prefer students pay lower then keeping someone with seniority. 

The onboarding is a slow process. Once started the people are extremely kind and helpful. There is a lot of freedom to practice so may not be a great place to start out of school, but once you want autonomy, this company will let you hit the ground running.

busy site, learned to multi task, needs better management, better cto,sick hours, care teams all work different, since Torrance memorial is a big company they should have better pay, benefits and payed holidays not taken from our accumulated cto

Love the place I work at, co workers and Doctors are great to work with. Stress free work place. Downfall fall is pay,  for it being part of a hospital it can be better. Compared to my previous job the work load is much less and never go home worrying about work.
