What is the best part of working at the company?
Total Care is a company that truly cares about their clients and their families and works hard every day to give the best care possible. It's a great place to work as an employee, because everyone shows up every day with a smile on their face and a commitment to our clients!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Healthcare is a field that always has a component of stress to it. But the teamwork at Total Care makes those stressful days easier. People step in to help each other out and lighten the load. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Supportive is the first word that comes to mind. Total Care is a company that has formed core values as a way to shape the culture, and each employee exemplifies those values. It makes for a positive, supportive, teamwork-minded environment and culture. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
My typical day is a mix of client care, meetings, collaboration with my teammates, and care coordination with outside agencies to optimize client care.

I recently moved cross country or I would have continued to work for Total Care Connections! They are a great company to work for!  They give you great flexibility in hours and types of patients that you are willing to do. They pay you travel time between clients which is not all caregiving jobs do. The support staff in the office is great to deal with. If ever a conflict comes up with a client the company has your back all the way! I worked with them for four years and got great satisfaction out of it! If you are looking for a Caregiver job this is the go to company!

Our focus has always been on delivering high-quality personal care and skilled services that allow members to remain safely in their homes while supporting their families with dignity and compassion.

This company and the local managers are actually great to work for. The down side, they use calling services best way to describe it to pick up shifts. The problem with those it is not reliable. They also have a HR outsourcing service. Sometimes they say they will give you a bonus but then it doesn’t come out on your paycheck. So you call and let them know hey you didn’t get paid the bonus.. well it’s a pain. And it just depends if that shift agent that you picked up for notates it. 
Company overall I s good. Just the shift service and HR system they have is not good.
Clients are overall great. I just wish they had a better system to pick up shifts and not be called last minute.. it is stressful that way.

Everyone is there for you 24 hours, to help in any thing you need help with & very professional & friendly.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As a HHA-DCW- Caregiver the stressful part is when your out working with a client they assign you to and been with this client long, then see him or her is put in hospice and see them few weeks more than pass away.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
As soon we are hired, this company gives every hired person training-culture in every way & good environment.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A good routine that is normal or if their is holidays, they let us have and paid.

I have been with this company for several months. I have worked for a few agencies over the last 11 years. I can say that TCC is consistent with  assignments and clients. Caregivers just have to show they want to work and demonstrate they are reliable. 

Granted, majority of the clients are only 2-3 hours shifts however, they have been offering more 4-6 hour shifts lately. The clients themselves are great as well. Families are welcoming and will recognize you for good care. 

Staff have all been friendly, flexible and understanding. There isn't that pressure or guilt feeling when you cannot take a shift offered. Over all this is perfect for those in school or with another part time job. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
The hours are good for my busy schedule. Lots of open shifts daily, so you can pick and chose freely. I have a set schedule which I like, has room to  add clients if I need to. The staff is nice and easy to talk to.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I am not stressed at this job.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Pretty laid back, professional,  nice environment to work with.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I am a caregiver, so a typical day changes all the time. I take care of 3 clients and they are pleasant to work with.

My time with this company has been incredibly fulfilling, both personally and professionally. One of the key highlights has been the opportunity to continuously learn and grow. The company encourages employees to embrace new challenges, helping us to develop valuable skills and expand our expertise in a supportive environment.

Management here is exceptional. The managers are approachable, kind, and genuinely invested in their team’s success. They create an open-door atmosphere, where feedback is welcomed, and support is always available!

I have been working there a little over a yr out of the few agencies i have worked for I think total care Connections pretty decent agency. They are one of the first agencies that pays in between clients. The offer sick time, health benefits and vision beneits and payactive. Which are all good benefits. Okay place to work if you are needing a job they typically always have clients in need so at times they are short staffed. Office team does a job great at schedule. Overall good place to work. Compensation isn't the best but hopefully in future they will increase the wages.
