I had high hopes for the culture of this company since the CEO stated it was important to him!   But unfortunately, that was a joke.  Not only are you expected to drive over a 100 mile radius to see patients,  your patient panel is constantly changing without notice, so you never get to know your patients.  Management loves to micromanage and they speak to you extremely disrespectfully. I’ve NEVER had a boss speak to me like an angry, crazy person. You’re not trusted at all, and you’re not allowed to learn. You’re expected to know the job inside and out within 3-4 months. And DO NOT complain about the abuse and disrespect you’re experiencing, you’re supposed to put up with it, otherwise, you’re a target!  

My typical work day is driving between clients and the multiple meetings they put on your schedule that you have to attend.  I’ve learned that a mobile Complex Care Navigator is a fancy phrase for Case Manager. There is no workplace culture as you’re not sure who your manager is because every remote worker gives you directions and there is no control over your schedule. The hardest part of my job is the distance between each client and your “team” not being in the same state as you.  The most enjoyable part of working at Tuesday Health is talking to the clients. Unfortunately, Tuesday Health needs some restructuring and the work flow needs to be improved and if you hire talented individuals that you believe in, don’t micro manage them.

Working with Tuesday Health being a new company in the supportive care / palliative care industry and already seeing the impact on the members and families lives is very rewarding. 
I have also felt like a “ human being” since being with company, not treated like just another number/ employee. The work life balance is amazing. I enjoy that it is made a goal to be sure the entire team has time set aside to learn and grow and team build  although we are remote all across the US. There not many places that you can say you had dinner and team building with the CEO.
There are multiple ways to give feedback and although all changes can’t happen I feel heard .

The company brings you in with a fabulous introduction promising that your opinion matters and will help build the company, but when you make suggestions you’re belittled with a demeaning response. Your feedback is not welcomed or respected.  From the position/company description to the orientation it is all smoke and mirrors. You’re told that there is a 45 minute radius from your home of driving but that quickly changed and was delivered with a take it or leave it tone. The managers do not care about “windshield” time because they are not the ones driving. None live in Ohio they are all remote and cozy in their homes. You’re expected to drive 45+ minutes from place to place with at least 6 visits a day. I definitely do not recommend for anyone or their vehicles. 

I interviewed for the Member Engagement Specialist position at Tuesday Health and unfortunately had a very unprofessional experience. The interview process felt disorganized and lacked clear communication about expectations. It did not feel like candidates were treated with the level of professionalism you would expect from a healthcare organization. Based on my experience and conversations during the process, the work environment appeared to be heavily micromanaged, which raised concerns about trust and autonomy for employees. There also seemed to be noticeable favoritism within the team, which could make it difficult for all employees to feel equally valued or supported.

The mission of improving end of life care for our patients is felt throughout the company - we are all focused on our patients.  I love the leadership team - They are friendly, openly communicate, and share in the responsibility of workloads.  The culture of a start-up is fun and all of us are working a variety of roles since we are small and nimble.  I am learning a ton and love what we are doing in the communities.  Given it's a start-up, there are still things that we are working on and improving, but the good news is that everyone is open to ideas and how to get better.  

Tuesday Health is a fantastic company to work for. I love the team and what the vision is. We are all working together with one common goal. Being able to make a difference in peoples lives is inspiring. Tuesday Health appreciates their employees and values their feedback. I would highly recommend Tuesday Health

I love working for Tuesday Health. It's a startup company providing care to patients with serious illness. It's a startup company so it does require flexibility and you have to be able to adapt to change, but your feedback matters and helps shape the direction of the company. If you're someone who likes to help build something, working independently, and helping patients in need, its a great place to work.
