Management throws whoever is available at any project they have. Stating if you can not wear multiple hats then you do not belong here. Management expects top results but doesn't offer the necessary resources for success. Direction is vague, staff is limited and training is non-existant. Be prepared to solve your own problems. When a project is lacking it's handled like the individual is not putting in enough effort instead of looking for solutions to the root problem. Everyone is overworked and is constantly running around putting out fires caused by poor management. The work environment makes it almost impossible to discuss issues or balance tasks without consiquences and gossip. Multiple companies are run out of the same building and your often asked to support those aswell. It is a very hectic place to work.

First thing I noticed here is the management team is on the phone, email and teams meeting all evening sometimes as late as 9 pm. This includes the CEO. If you are a manager in the field this includes them. This goes to show they have no work life balance.   You are expected to attend a teams meeting at 4 pm even if you are off the clock for the day.  I was asked to arrive on site at 7am  and the teams meeting ended at 4:30 pm after that things need to be locked up etc. This is a 8 hour day to them.  If you travel for this company you sit in your hotel all weekend as they do not work weekends.  You will be hard pressed to even get  a 40 hour week. The other reviews are all ture. If you don't have a degree in computer science you will struggle to even turn in your timesi

The few who more concerned about looking good to management rather than doing their job in the office were rewarded and they would blame all the other employees for work problems.
The company has no management locally, contract and office management is run from Michigan and it is run very badly
Certain employees are more interested in making others look bad to promote themselves than doing the job they were hired for.
Was hired to do a job but was never allowed to do the job hired for since the other co-worker didn't know how to use the software required.
The office atmosphere was extremely caustic as if you didn't fit into the admin clique you were ostracized and constantly talked about, and made to feel incompetent.


Good company, my typical day consisted of managing the network on the the Sierra Army Depot base. Working 10 hours a day 40 hours a week. Off days are Fri- Sun.

I've  learned lot about Cisco LAN/WAN/WLAN networks in a production environment. 

Management is pretty laid back. Co-workers seem a little distant due to my office being separated from the government employees.

The hardest part about my job is building trust and continuity between me (contractor) and the government employees.

The most enjoyable thing is working with Cisco Networks. Which I've been doing for some time now.

Human resources department  is a joke
they have little or no training in how to deal with people or serious issues
overall upper management and owners only care about how mush they make and hiding problems from their clients
do not treat staff with respect or provide all the tools required in contracts for employees to get the job done
force hourly employees to utilize personal property to do the job and company doesn't provide compensation
does not provide raises when warranted or specified in the contract

Productive workplace, but Technical Writing team is small. Getting a raise after your first review is like pulling teeth. Direct project managers will do what they can to help you, but upper management has no clue about day to day requirements for getting a book published and tries to incorporate management over site procedures that are time consuming and don't make sense for the type of work you do. Building is not well designed for climate control, and office space upstairs is either freezing or over 80 degrees, and the thermostat is typically controlled based on the temperature of the warehouse.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No structure of any kind everything goes through a manipulative president who could get really insulting, doesn’t matter if it’s in front of the whole staff. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
There’s the inner circle from a certain ethnic group and everybody else. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You are asked to work extra hours even on weekends, but don’t expect any overtime of any kind and barely any raises.

They do not keep the promises that they gave you at the beginning of the job. especially wasting people's time with false statements and promises. HR is not experienced even not answering emails but lying about it. Nothing to learn from these kinds of people. Management is not good as well. no work ethic so no work culture. nothing too hard on the duties they were asking but not trustable people. Especially HR. not any enjoyable part of the job.

The people are great, it was a relaxed place to work, no real stress, unless deadlines changed.  Management seemed to cycle through more than regular staff, always trying to find where the mistakes were made, people never wanting to take the blame or fall for something that they did.  Never tried to find a real work around for huge issues, and taking on orders in their manufacturing department that they were not staffed or equipped to handle, and then blaming the workers for not being able to produce.

Chaos management. Always trying to put out fires instead of preventing them. They will over work you and assign you projects with no regard to your current responsibilities. They expect you to be work whatever hours are needed to get all your projects completed by the deadline even if you have to work late and the on weekends. No overtime pay either. They will call you to attend meetings and answer questions on your PTO days. Work here if you don’t want a life outside of the company.
