My experience with this organization revealed a culture that prioritizes productivity and revenue over employee well-being and, at times, patient-centered care.
Employees are expected to tolerate verbal abuse from patients with little meaningful support from management. When concerns regarding patient behavior were raised, the response focused primarily on employee actions and de-escalation strategies rather than addressing the inappropriate conduct itself or providing adequate support to staff.
Leadership and provider interactions often reflected a lack of collaboration and accountability. I observed instances where patients appeared to be treated differently based on factors such as insurance status, demographics, or communication barriers. In situations where disagreements arose between providers and patients, there were occasions where patients felt dismissed rather than heard.
Staffing levels frequently failed to match patient volume, with employees expected to manage exceptionally high patient loads while receiving minimal support. Despite regularly working 12-hour shifts, uninterrupted breaks were often unrealistic or unavailable due to operational demands.
Perhaps most concerning was the expectation of unwavering loyalty from employees without a corresponding commitment to support, protect, or value them when challenges arose. Employees were expected to continually give more while receiving little advocacy in return.
Prospective employees should carefully consider whether this work environment aligns with their professional values, expectations for workplace support, and commitment to quality patient care

After working for this company for 3 years. The only positive thing I can say is my  pay was good! Everything else especially management is terrible! Short staffed they do not care yet they want 5 Star reviews. Can't happen without staff! Then they ask for your help getting employees in and you help. But they go with someone to the point that is embarrassing! No supplies much of the time. No lunch break for 12 hours yet they question why you need bottles of water in the refrigerator?? Why do you need cups? Patients sometimes need water to void and to take a pill?? It is embarrassing when you have to put water in a specimen cup. The expectations are not supported by the needs they present! This place is awful. Then they weed people out if they try to improve the place.  They lie to Patients and will not advise patients where their primary care  provider went for continuity of care. Yet, they will tell them they need to find someone else for primary care needs! They are concerned with profit not people and this company is in the wrong business!!!

The providers deserve a better company and better leadership. Management is horrible from the center throughout the corporation. You can expect to be talked about behind your back. Management is not held to the same standards as anyone else. They are allowed to leave early, call in sick, and take time off for any reason. Everyone else is expected to be there every time they are called in on their off time and if they ever call in sick, they are treated poorly as a result no matter how dependable they are. Full time is considered 30 hours a week. This company is a stepping stone at best. It’s okay for someone who is just getting started in the medical field. Once you offer to do something extra, consider that your responsibility from then on. You don’t get a break at all. You’re expected to eat on the go. There’s never enough staff for the patient load but you get in trouble for patient wait times being too long. Only one front desk and one medical assistant per shift even during flu season. Expect to be over worked, under paid, and under appreciated.

My first week as front desk I was running my center on site and another center remotely. My last week, I ran my site in person, two centers remotely, and did intake and registration for video appointments at the same time. They are chronically understaffed. When our overtime friendly people burnt out, we got a company wide email about "not doing our part to cover shifts." One woman needed therapy for anxiety after working 6 day weeks for 6 months and was told she couldn't have a static day off to schedule it. They pay consistently less than rival urgent care places. Corporate insists you follow protocol, but there are three different versions of protocol at any given time and nobody will answer questions. You have to take patients until the doors close and are required to stay until everyone is seen, which often turns your 12 hours shift into a 13-15 hour shift. Despite not getting breaks, you can't eat at your desk or have open drink containers, leaving you no time to eat or drink all shift. 

Urgent Team cares about Urgent Team. They do not care about their employee.  They try to act like they care about them and the patients, but what it boils down to is money.  If that means allowing a clinic to work understaffed to save a few bucks, or taking a patient's money to tell them they cannot be treated and need to go to the ED, they will do it.  They do not care about anything but the almighty dollar.  They will lure you in with promises of raises and wonderful benefits, but those things don't really exist here.  Their idea of a raise is $0.10 every year. Don't ask for anything more or you'll be reminded of this huge raise you've already received.  12 hour shifts are great but don't ask to take a lunch break.  You'll be told that they don't legally have to give you one.  You can eat when there are no patients in the building, which is rare.  If you can put up with the money hungry management, you will be in constant fear of losing your job.  There is no job security with this company.  Any time they do grace you with their presence it's usually to reprimand the team or fire someone.  Absolutely no employee appreciation.

Urgent Team is hectic the patient volume is always constant the website doesn’t match what happens in clinic. Patients always get upset with the front office staff and management doesn’t back up staff. 

When it comes to employees and COVID; employees were not offered hazard pay. Employees have to use their own PTO or go into negative if they get COVID only for a week the second week of mandatory quarantine is unpaid. Corporate does not care about it’s employees. It’s a stressful job. The hours are rough especially on busy days. It can be overwhelming and there’s no help they keep the clinics minimally staffed. 

They kept employees from receiving “yearly” raises due to “budget cuts”. Employees are not treated fairly here and have been neglected when it comes to having to work through a pandemic and high volumes without being appreciated. 

You rarely get a lunch sometimes it’s difficult to get a bathroom break. 

The pay is horrible. Management will tell you one thing but do another, and often flat out lie. Staff turnover is extremely high and NONE of the PRN staff show to work. All clinics are understaffed because they simply can't retain employees, nor do they want to. 
If you're an xray tech, be prepared to be paid about 1/4-1/3 LESS than what you'll make anywhere else, even with years of experience and other degrees (nursing, medical assistant, phlebotomy, etc). Clinic managers and receptionists are paid the least and managers often last 6 months or less. And don't ever expect a raise. You won't get one. 
The benefits are expensive, and while they do offer "free" clinic visits for employees, they will still bill you. 
Schedule jumps all over and is at the whim of the manager, so you never know when you're working. It can (and does) change without notice. 

I thought I had found my dream job with this company. After a few months working there I became very ill and was hospitalized.  Upon my return I was written up and the other employees had become very hostile towards me, which has now created a very stressful and upsetting work environment.  The office manager knows very little as to the goings on in the office or how the office should be run. A typical work day consists of triage, labs, faxes, referrals, injections, cleaning and sanitation along with drug screens. I have learned very little from anyone in the office.  It is a learn as you go place. The hardest part about the job is the hostility and bad attitudes.  The most enjoyable part of the job is the patients.  I love to help people and make them feel better.

As the pandemic continues the patient environment becomes more and more toxic. There is little compensation in the long term and an expectation for staff to manage with missing members regularly. Certain positions have gone unfilled for months and there doesn’t look to be a change. New employment is being hired at a higher rate than current employment with pay raises having been put on hold almost 2 years ago at the start of COVID. Patients continue to disrespect staff on a daily basis with little to no support from management. Coworkers are inclusive and kind, and without the positive attitude and hard work of the remaining staff it would be an almost unbearable work environment. 

Management is messy and let certain workers have privileges they shouldn’t have. No Christmas bonus and if you want to be home at a decent time look other places. 8-8 and having to see patients if they walk in at 7:59 is insane! Issues are never resolved and taking your concerns to the higher positioned ppl is pointless. No one takes accountability and shifts the blame. I worked here for 8 months and will NEVER look back. You have to rush to eat bc you aren’t given a lunch break, you have to work two months just to accrue enough PTO time to cover one shift. Management says you have to find your own coverage but will ask for coverage for certain employees. The job was okay but corrupt management will always run off good workers.
