This place is wrought with serious problems, starting from upper management and trickling down into a workplace culture of toxicity. There is relentless gossip of which even the managers partake. 

There are many badly behaving employees who are unpleasant, unhelpful, and out-of-control who rarely face consequences. And then there are the managers themselves--many whom are downright mean-spirited bullies. While some may excel at their jobs, many are not cut out to be leaders. 

Much of the training provided when I was first hired was unsatisfactory because of IT glitches and it was merely "observing"--not actual training. So, I had to advocate numerous times for myself to receive further training. I also had to advocate continuously for adequate ongoing support, and still my boss would forget me in my remote location. It was exhausting, worrisome, and unfair for me to have to do this for 18 months. It was a source of great stress.

The most enjoyable part of the job was was the direct patient contact I had while helping patients meet their healthcare goals and the freedom I was given to cultivate new outreach leads in the community. It's a pity I had to leave, but the work environment was just too toxic, and HR failed me when I filed a complaint. 

The clinic is an excellent, diverse, fun place to work. The staff is helpful and friendly. The doctors are kind and respectful. My only issue with VHT is the administration part of the company. They take forever to approve, higher, or incorporate. Their compensation is low; however, if you fight for a higher salary VHT will match or get pretty close. VHT does not train, nor encourage continued skill training, must be on your own time.

You have a job and health benefits, besides that nothing else.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Manager micro manages everything including why you want to take PTO. No work/life balance.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
You can't even breathe because it feels like you are being watched all the time.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I don't even want to go into the office because it  feels like once you clock in, you're not allowed to have nothing else on your mind, except to work.

Dont expect anything from management and above totally unrealistic how unprofessional they are. They basically team up like bullies and make work life hard. 

I love the work atmosphere here. They care about the employees and will work with you to succeed. Management is approachable and willing to teach you about the overall job requirements. 

It’s a good to work for the staff it’s like family there there to help when short staff and the doctors are nice to work with always willing to help the staff 

I especially like working directly with patients .working with patients who absolutely adore me definitely motivates me to provide excellent care.

Great place to work, pay rate is fair. Great thing is that you don’t have your manager looking over your shoulder. The healthcare is great you get full benefits 

Pros: Great patients, new facility, updated equipment, paperless charting
Cons: management favoritism, frequent office gossip, coworkers sabotaging other 

This company is good to work for however, it’s not for long term. The unorganized environment can lead to a very stressful work life. Get your experience and go.
