Extremely poor senior leadership with ALL decisions made by one individual.  Nepotism and favoritism is rampant.  Toxic environment with no concern for patients, health care providers or employees.  Sales are demanded at all costs tossing ethics and legalities aside.  Bonuses are often withheld or revised after the fact by senior management.  There was some good field leadership but quality field leaders and highly ethical employees are punished and terminated.  Very high turnover.

This company does not have a culture that any representative would want to stay in. Management never follows up on what they promise and quotas keep changing from quarter to quarter.

in the beginning, this company was great to work for but things started to change. Not have quotas for the quarter and not knowing what the compensation plan was, was very frustrating and irritating. there was absolutely no transparency

Management would work with staff to ensure it was an enjoyable and productive place to work and a safe working environment.  Very open to suggestions.  Open door policy which was nice

Management doesn’t value the employees. We went an entire quarter without sales goals, data, and a bonus plan was changed mid quarter and not communicated. 

Never provided any form of infrastructure.  Lack of resources to help selling model.  Long days cold calling.  Lunch meetings and scheduled appointments.

C-Suites and field had no communication, and things that were promised never happened: company cars, realistic sales goals, and more.  Turnover was terrible bcause of the disconnect.

Poison culture with poor leadership starting at the top.  He hired reps with a lot of experience and a proven track record of success and refuses to listen to them.

Great colleagues from top pharmaceutical companies relaunching Fanapt.  Access to county psychiatrists can be challenging.

The most enjoyable part of the job is changing the quality of life for blind patients.  They are at a disadvantage in many ways but the product that Vanda offers is bar none.
