This place was always understaffed. Probably because their is too much work and they keep piling on again and again like you didn't have enough to do before. Receptiniosts are NOT respected. The phones are nonstop and you can't do the extra work they give you because the phones keep going off and there's no time for anything else. My coworkers always stayed passed their shift to catch up but I have a life! If the shift ends at 5 why do people stay their until 7 just trying to catch up. everyone is stressed out and wants to leave. Raises are a joke I got 13 cents??Management doesn't listen.  2 people didn't show up to work and quit and I wan't even there a year. and they weren;t the only ones to leave when i was there. I got out as soon as possible. its just nonstop crazy all day every day. The PTO bank is confusing and you only earn one day off every month. Way too little people working there to do everything they want. There's no communication. You feel SICK going to work because you already know your going to have a bad day!! it the worst I will never NEVER ever go back.

I was mislead.  I thought this was a nice place to work with nice people but it was very lively bakery cake with poison on the inside.  Stay away!  You’re sucked in and mislead to think you’re part of a team and doing a great job and supported but then you are turned on suddenly.  Nothing you do is right and nothing you do is enough.  But you are good enough to fill in, come in early, stay late, take out the trash, and pick up after people’smesses.  Typical day is rooming patients, prepping charts, doing others staff work so they can snack and be on their phone and make their own hours, work through lunch.  Workplace culture is your typical high school cliche giggling and talking behind others backs - including the manager. ..who was sloppy unprofessional and immature.  Hardest part of the job is figuring out where you fit in if at all.  I learned nothing except I couldn’t afford the benefits and it wasn’t a safe drive to work or a safe work environment.  

Working in the Verona office was great for a while.  I learned a lot about Primary Care.  The volume became way too much and I had to work from home in order to keep up with the workflow.  The main problem was that I was working 7 days a week and had no time for my family.  I really loved working with my team, MAs, and providers.  I just felt that I was doing way too much work and not getting appreciated. In addition to working too much, my boss was very condescending, two faced, vindictive, and very controlling.  It became a very toxic environment to work in and I was tired of crying every time my director treated me badly.  She not only did this to me, but to my coworkers as well.  I also learned that I was the sixth person in this position in a span of 10 years and no one lasts for more than 2 years. For your own sanity do not work here unless you want to deal with high stress and anxiety.

Working at Vanguard Medical Group has been very rewarding and it's my favorite job I've had in my career. As part of the HR team, I have the opportunity to see how much the organization values both its employees and its patients. Leadership is approachable and genuinely invested in supporting staff growth and development. Feedback is valued and every single staff member is taken into consideration. I also appreciate how collaborative everyone is. People across the organization are always willing to help one another, and there’s a strong sense of teamwork across departments. Vanguard also offers great opportunities for professional development and recognizes the hard work of its employees. It’s motivating to be part of a company that not only provides excellent care to patients, but also cares about the well-being and success of its staff.

The job was gratifying when I met the patient, being able to give moral support to other human being on their most critical time of their life when they felt sick or worry about their health this was gratifying.   I learned so much from the Montville's location that I really will thankful with that few people that teach me and help me with my learning, My co-workers overall nice and helpful, but like all places you always find the layback person who want to take advantage of the newbie Medical assistant, that was stressful and very disappointed and not been able to complain about it was worse, because I did not to be to be point out as the problem maker.  The most enjoyable part of the job was to help others, to be the person to tell a patient that everything will be ok, to think positive and been able to steal a smile from them priceless.

I really enjoy working at vanguard medical group. They are very understanding and as long as you don't take advantage of calling out or needing to leave early, usually the office manager will find ways to help you out, even when it's very busy. There can be a lot of work at times but to me that just makes the day go by quicker. The best part about working at Vanguard Medical is the staff. The MAs, MRs, and providers are all fun to work with. Everyone is always willing to help especially if you are new to the job. You will learn A LOT there. Management also always celebrates MA week, MR week, PA week, etc. They love making their employees feel valuable and showing their appreciation because they know that their employees work very hard and have a lot of task to complete throughout the day. 

My experience was from the Cranford location but with the changes made, the company has become very corporate. Overall I do not recommend working for this company. If you’re a hard worker be prepared to do everyone else’s job including the managers duties. The doctors are okay, patients are rude and coworkers love to gossip, ohhh and let’s not forget the manager who has no clue of what’s she’s doing and loves delegating her duties to everyone else. This place will leave you feeling burnout and stress. The pay is horrible, the raise is only a few cents and pto is confusing. 

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. It's that bad. The worst part about this place is the management. They are toxic and will talk about everyone behind their back (especially Verona) while smiling to their face. They don't care about the patients or their staff. They will work you til you cry and then tell you that you aren't tough enough to be there. There is practically zero room for growth and the pay is awful. The doctors are arrogant and rude and corporate is a joke. If you value your sanity and want to work in an environment that is good for your mental health, do not apply to any role at this place.

Well the company took really good care of us that I would notice we were always smiling. Thank you for the opportunity.

I can't recall having a stressful moment. Our team would always help each other out.

Family atmosphere and great personal quality of care!!!

Meetings during lunch hour but at least paid lunch hour meeting or not.
