When I was looking for a new role, one of the most important things for me was finding a company whose values weren't just something they posted on the website and never looked at again but rather something they lived. I've found Velir to be exactly what they advertise themselves to be. Managers actively are assessing workloads and redistributing as necessary so everyone has work-life balance. No company is perfect, and neither is Velir, but they regularly are asking for feedback and then implementing change based on feedback.

Don't blame your broken websites on support. Create websites that function AT LAUNCH, so that support can focus on small bugs and features as they are supposed to.

Velir originally worked only with nonprofits and has since expanded into all indsutries, which provides a breadth of work and level of excitement in the work place. No two days are the same! And the people are just incredible- communicative, collaborative, and kind.

I was hired during COVID, which made me a bit nervous, as I could not meet everyone in person and get a vibe about the office and its people. But it was the best decision I ever made! They were able to make the onboarding easy. There is a great work/life balance. We do innovative work with great clients.

Velir has great people who are mission driven and really care about the work they produce. At the beginning of the pandemic everyone was asked to work remotely and we were encouraged to go back to the office this year only if we wanted to. Many people are still remote or hybrid. 

Developer friendly environment. Employees always looking to improve quality and processes. Management attentive to developer's needs. Company sponsored social/fun events.

Good company, good people, good work/life balance. Fair HR policies. Lots of people from all over the world.

Centrally located, easy to commute.

Great on the job training programs.

Nice team atmosphere. Excellent technical management. Not too big of a company, but big and mature enough to have effective processes in place.
