This company is new so the building is nice. They pay a little more because they work with insurance companies that pay a little more. This makes for a less stressful environment between coworkers at the same career level. There is a price to pay for the bump in pay.  Upper management also gets paid more. If there is anything a manager can blame on you to avoid any difficulty in their own situations at work it will be done. This is a very dangerous environment for non-supervisory roles. Nobody is dumb here higher paying jobs are hard to find, do not convince yourself that you have got it made if you have been hired. The minute somebody above you in authority needs a scapegoat, the party is over. and you do not need to do anything wrong to get the blame. Be diligence and keep records of everything, Make photocopies, report management who look suspicious to the anonymous tip lines provided. Stay ahead of your boss, document everything you can about your day, including times and dates, do not ever trust them. This is a company where money is the name of the game and if anything goes wrong, you will be in a competition to take the blame. Nobody wants to lose their high-paying job and all of this will go down behind your back. Pay attention to who is friends with who. 

Hospital is only 3 years old. Very new, clean, and nice for a psych facility. Patients have many activities & therapies during the day for programming. 
Admin is toxic, not easy to approach, and does not care about staff or true safety. Admin is purely focused on patient satisfaction surveys, prolonging stays for insurance coverage payouts, & making profit off of patients that rarely get “better.” The lack of support and care for the staff (RNs, MHTs, and a variety of therapists) is obvious due to the visible frustration and burn out upon units. 
Endless paperwork, constantly changing policies and protocols without proper communication and guidance. 
VERY POOR administration support here!! 

By like-minded, they mean they want someone who will agree with all of their policies and procedures despite administration having no experience in behavioral health. The expect you to do 3 jobs for the price of one and are not concerned with safety, for you or the patients. Patients act out and become violent and staff is sent home on administrative leave for trying to protect themselves. Turnover is high. Management is so bad that people walk out minutes before their first shift starts.

Just the learning process and with some great people,

Before we were approached but these days it's just a lot going on, hopefully it will get better

Very nice and beautiful can't complain

I love my shift, I'm very relaxed most of the time

The hospital is new, clean and beautiful. Via Linda Behavioral offers  great benefits.

New hospital so policies were not established yet.

The work environment is busy but manageable. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy, fast paced but challenging and rewarding.

It is a Behavioral health center, so it comes with the good the bad and the ugly in patients, and that gives employees in this industry a chance to make a difference. Making the best out of tough situations is what is taught to these patients and it was a pleasure doing my part with positivity. If there is a negative comment about this place, they are just not equipped for a giving job like this. 

Working with adults was fairly easy. Even with conflict you were able to reach resolution. Adolescents were given cart Blanche with their behavior. There was no sense of responsibility or accountability  management was mot concerned with the safety of the employees. 

The patients DO NOT receive any therapy, the employees are overworked and underapprecited and no empathy is shown to, patients and there is also, no empathy from admin to their employers. If that couldn't get any worse, the patient's or their families will get a big surprise when they find out their insurance did not cover the hospital pay!!

If you mind your business and do your job it's ok. Too much gossiping for me. Certain people don't want to work with this one. Is this high school? I love working with the patients at the end of the day that's who we here for. Right? I just want to say it's a couple of nurses and techs I adore 🥰

Very passionate team, everyone really cares about the success of patients and each other. Great culture and strong leadership. Exceptional patient care happening here. The location is great and in a beautiful area.
