As both an employee and a parent of children who have received ABA services, I also appreciate the company’s commitment to improving the client and family experience. I started working for Virtus a year ago, and I was able to gain experience very fast! I got the proper training needed for the clients I was assigned and was provided with a TON of supervision. Much more than the minimum required, which helps us feel supported in how we are running programs and handling challenging behaviors. The Current center administrator is absolutely wonderful. She has done nothing but support all staff and make the clinic an organized, clean and presentable place to learn. She goes above and beyond for staff and our clients! Our Regional BCBA is wonderful and supportive as well, as she works hard to support two clinics! 
The only thing I would say needs work is the gossip of the center. No matter where you work, there will be work-place gossip, but some specific staff make the tension here higher then I would personally like it, but its a learning curve for us all! 
It can sometimes be difficult when BCBA's are under stress, as they may make remarks that are not very motivating. Most of the time they are wonderful, but sometimes their need for power gets to their head and they take it out on us. We all worked hard to get where we are! Showing Grace is necessary in this field. Sometimes being strict isn't always the way to approach situations, especially in a field with such a high burnout rate. Do not let this be a reason you turn away from this job/company, we are all working hard to learn whats best for everyone, and sometimes that can be difficult when so many personalities are working together in a building. 
Virtus is a good place to work, it just has its flaws, like every other work place!

Being an RBT requires a lot of responsibility but it is a rewarding job. The BCBA's I have worked with at Virtus Naples and Ft. Myers are very knowledgeable and supportive. The staff culture is very positive. Of course, there are going to be difficult days in this position however, the positives outweigh any of the negatives. The training provided has improved over my time working with this company. Administration and supervisors truly care about their staff and will truly listen to their concerns. This company does consider the feedback from the staff and tries their best to make changes when needed. Compared to my experience in working primarily as an RBT in homes, I prefer the consistency of working in the center and not spending most of my time driving or providing my own materials. Virtus offers mileage if you need to drive elsewhere and materials to use for your clients in the center. If a client calls out, they will try to find you a replacement if possible which is a perk that you don't get with other companies. Regarding pay, they offer raises based on experience and skill as you grow with the company. The most enjoyable part of the job is definitely seeing the kids progress and celebrating their successes with our staff along the way! 

I have worked at and interviewed at other ABA centers in the surrounding areas of Elkhart county. Virtus stood out to me during my application and interview process, from then my love for the company has continued to grow. I could say so many good things but I will just talk about the BCBAs and how much they care for every individual to be successful in everything they do. The BCBAs are always learning and implementing new strategies to help our clients succeed. Before anything new is implemented with our clients the BCBAs take the time to make sure every staff member is trained and is understanding of what we will be doing. The BCBAs are always taking time to make sure RBTs understand ABA and can continue to grow our knowledge so that we can give the best quality service to every client we work with. If you are in school to become a BCBA Virtus offers great supervision and will work with you to grow your knowledge to be prepared for when you sit for your exam. I will be done now but if you are looking for a good ABA center I would not hesitate to come join our team at Virtus. :)

Over the 2 years that I have been employed at Virtus I have consistently seen growth and opportunities in my career as a BCBA. As Virtus grows, so does my ability to engage with other fantastic BCBAs for ongoing collaboration. Virtus is excellent at providing learning opportunities on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and also supports  continuing education in other ways like bringing expect speakers to Virtus, or sending staff members to professional conferences. Compared to other companies and agencies I have worked for, Virtus has kept me feeling empowered in my career and provided opportunities for me to grow as a leader. Management continuously works on bettering themselves and is very responsive to feedback from all levels. The BCBAs that work for Virtus are a great and fun group of people that make it easy to look forward to coming to work everyday. The hardest part of the job is, of course, the emotional rollercoaster that often comes along with working with children with special needs, but the best part of my job are my coworkers and the supportive atmosphere that of course, in turn, means the best quality care for the clients we serve. 

Virtus has the potential to be an AMAZING center. However, the higher ups are worried about all the wrong things. So here is the good, bad, and ugly. 
The good:

The bad: 
-There were daily required “chores” that the RBT’s were expected to complete and if not done we were punished. But we were expected to do them WHILE working with the client. If we did not get a chance to do it while with our client we were expected to stay off the clock to complete it. Without pay. Hire a real cleaning crew. We deal with behaviors that include bodily fluids. They need a REAL cleaning crew. But don’t want to pay for it. 
-If you’re not 10 minutes early(unpaid), you’re late. 
-No lunch break
-You get PTO but good luck getting off when you request it. 

The ugly: 
-Unethical things happening on every corner. They do not use least restrictive practices with the clients.

Value RBT time: Late client but RBT waiting= company paid non-billable time
Fair pay with opportunities to increase by proving skill level
Client materials/ reinforcers/ cleaning supplies/ anything needed for session is paid for and provided by company
RBT monthly supervision exceeds board requirement and is adequately documented
Parents participate in parent trainings and creates a whole team approach
Client caseload per RBT is 2-3 clients that allows for consistency/ accuracy with implementing client specific BIPs


While there are some talented individuals at this company, collaboration is often limited to those within an inner circle. Leadership tends to overlook input from staff unless it benefits their own agenda, and it's not uncommon for ideas to be taken and repackaged without giving credit. Feedback can be weaponized, not welcomed—so it's essential to keep everything in writing when meeting with leadership.

Client care often feels like an afterthought, with decisions driven more by numbers than meaningful outcomes. It’s also worth noting that nearly all of upper management has been cleared out in the past six months, which raises serious questions about leadership stability and internal culture.

If you choose to work here, stay sharp, protect your boundaries, and advocate for yourself—you’ll need to.

As other reviewers have said, this company’s primary focus is profit - they don’t care very much for their employees, and it is painfully obvious. They do offer benefits, but they are minimal at best. You do earn time off, but don’t plan on using it because there is no coverage for you to take any time off. We are pushed far beyond max capacity, yet somehow we continue to take on clients. And because everyone is spread so thin, you get very little support. It would be absurdly comical if it wasn’t so real. The work you do with your client(s) is very rewarding, but it definitely comes at a cost to you (mentally and emotionally). I would highly recommend seeking employment with another company.

When I first started at Virtus, it was a really positive experience. I genuinely felt that the BCBAs were invested in my growth and open to my feedback. Over time, though, I began to notice several unethical practices that seemed to be overlooked or not addressed. The turnover rate is extremely high, and instead of resolving internal issues, it often felt like staff were simply moved around between teams.

Overall, management could do a much better job of supporting employees and prioritizing retention and workplace culture. There were also expectations to remain “on call” and in the area even on days I wasn’t scheduled, which felt unreasonable. In general, the environment came across as very profit-driven rather than staff-focused.
