This used to be a company where you were proud to work because you felt you were contributing to the welfare of people globally.  The management they've brought in has very little understanding of what is best for clinical trials and their only goal now is to fool investors into thinking this is a company worth buying. 

All the concern they express for work-life balance and employee development is nothing but hand-waving.  They change Human Resources to a different name because "resources are things to use up and that is not WCG."  A year later tons of layoffs and the name is changed back to Human Resources.  At least now they are honest how employees are being seen.   They also switched to unlimited PTO.  Sounds great right?  This was not for employee benefit but strictly for the company so they would not have to pay people accrued vacation hours when they lay off and end-of-year payouts because so few people use all their vacation.  They knew they could make it unlimited, people will still not take enough vacation and it makes their finances look better because they lack real vision and strategic business planning. 

Don't bother with WCG.  You can throw a stone and find dozens of companies with better business sense and care for their employees.

Typical day: sitting in chair at desk reviewing information and only getting up for a bio break, I've learned that their taking away PTO and giving employees "Unlimited PTO" has brought about a work culture where employees are not valued and work assigned to you has to be completed or there are consequences.  When I first signed up to work for WCG, we had meetings where we could connect with our team...meetings were slowly stopped and therefore any human interaction, with individuals other than your manager, ceased. Employees advance even after they treat people poorly and all together it has become a toxic work environment.  

WCG Trifecta is a phenomenal place to work!!! This is truly an entrepreneurial, fast growing company with an awesome mission!  Being fairly new, I appreciate the hands-on training that the company provides in all positions.  Everyone is willing to help me learn and accept me as part of the team.  There is an excellent work/life balance at this company due to a “family-focused” culture.  This is a positive work environment where everyone pitches in, where needed, to provide the highest quality services to the clients.  I am very happy to be a part of this enterprise!

Poor training, workload requirements are unrealistic, no moral, high turnover rate, higher ups clueless on the process

Remote work. Virtual meetings everyone look miserable

The number of jobs available in my area through WCG was minimal.  However, they work with the company to hire you.

lots of phone calls and e mails

High pay, lots of OT, but high requirements for accuracy and productivity. Frequent team meetings where we were told we didn't do enough work the day before, or the team as a whole made too many errors. If you can stay positive internally while hearing these things from the managers, you can make a lot of money. But if you internalize the negative feedback at the department level meetings, you will self-destruct.

Overall, you're doing important work and it's a good field to be in. However, some things could improve. The communication structure within departments could improve. There also seems to be a pretty high turnover rate. I do wish there was more of a community feel. But on a good note, you get to travel a bit (depending on position). 

The pay and benefits are nice. The flexibility is a major plus too. They’re not micromanager either. It’s just the training is lackluster and messy. Kind of sink or swim type deal. They’ll rush training and you basically have to learn solely through your errors. Then you have to figure it out alone and figure it out fast because the volume is high 

No work life balance. You are just a worker, nothing more. Benefits are good but you’ll have no life outside of work. Your co workers are awesome people but upper management has no clue what you do or how difficult your job actually is.
