What is the best part of working at the company?
The ground‑level teams and first‑level managers are the bright spot. They’re hardworking, collaborative, and genuinely committed to supporting each other despite the challenges created above them. The people doing the actual work are the reason anything gets done, and they deserve far better support from the top.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working at Wealth Enhancement Group was a disappointing experience, largely due to the gap between what’s promised and what’s actually delivered. The company heavily promotes work/life balance, but in reality, long hours and constant pressure make it nearly impossible to maintain. The onboarding process for new hires is also poorly structured—disorganized, rushed, and lacking the support needed to succeed in a complex operational environment.

Senior and executive leadership often feels disconnected from the day‑to‑day realities of the teams doing the actual work. Decisions are made from the top down without considering the impact on employees, and communication is inconsistent at best. The structure of how things are done is outdated and inefficient, and unless leadership is willing to revamp these systems, they risk losing even more talented people.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's a mess, senior leadership never seemed to be aligned on the direction of the company or teams. Which in turn trickled down to the day to day teams, and caused constant confusion and delays on projects.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It was constant barrage of putting out fires due to poor training from the company, and gaslit into being made to believe that you were the sole reason why you were behind on your work. After having been told you and other members of the team are terrible at your jobs each and every morning.

I have really enjoyed working at Wealth Enhancement! They are growing really fast, which  means there are often processes/procedures that still need to be worked out. But the positives of working at a growing and thriving company definitely outweigh that.  I have found it to be an amazing place to work where there is opportunity to take on stretch projects, the leadership is very communicative, and I've been able to make real friendships by getting involved (Women's ERG, mentorship program, etc). It can get really busy, but I've been able to set good boundaries on my time while working from home. And again, I'd rather be busy and be able to work from home versus being at a company that is lagging. 

Overall, I'm very pleased with my decision to move over to Wealth Enhancement Group.

It's a well-run company with great management throughout. Great work/life balance - the day ends when you walk out. They're growing in the right direction.

They're keen to keep costs low, often choose the cheaper option.

Actually stick to their values, especially when it comes to helping out clients. Culture is very corporate and dry, but that's not always a bad thing.

They work the marketing team hard, but it's a great place to grow.

Blindside culture. This company has so many job titles, even upper management has no credibility based on there titles. They will place blame on others, instead of taking initiative for growth. The focus is all over the place, if you are looking to grow your career here- this is not the place to start.

Growing company that still offers good work life balance.  Management and employees are collaborative, easy to work with, people strive to do the right thing for the client and each other.

The people were great to work with. However, ownership/management focus on an aggressive national growth strategy, which used up too much resources. Focus drifted from services current clients to acquiring new clients.

I worked here for a few months but was let go in retaliation for expressing a co-workers hostile behavior toward multiple co-workers…in my opinion it may be one of the worst places I’ve ever worked!

Top Management ok. PO in growth team is a snake. Suppose to be an Agile team but have some teammates that fight against real Agile and are very judgmental.

Everyone on the marketing team had their own niches, which made it really hard to take time off as no one could really 'cover' for you. The comp structure of the company is really geared toward giving as much to the FAs as possible.
