Working at this company offers valuable experience in a high-demand healthcare field, but there are significant challenges that impact both employees and patient care. 

Staffing is frequently an issue, with team members often having to cover extra responsibilities and shifts. While some employees are expected to take on additional roles and tasks, compensation doesn’t at all match the increased workload or experience level, which is extremely discouraging.

Communication from management could be improved, especially when it comes to promotions, responsibilities, and role assignments. Those who demonstrate strong commitment and take on extra responsibilities are left in limbo about advancement opportunities. Additionally, not all team members share equal accountability, which can create frustration for those who are dedicated to ensuring the work is done to a high standard.

The wound care team is intended to be a supportive resource, helping floor nurses with wound identification and prevention. However, the perception of our role can be misunderstood; some floor staff view the team as an added inconvenience, as if we are “looking for problems” rather than supporting their patient care efforts. A more collaborative environment and clearer communication of the team’s purpose would benefit both sides.

While the experience can be rewarding in terms of skill-building, a clearer structure, consistent support, and fair recognition of employees’ contributions would improve the work environment significantly.

Completely toxic company culture supported by a toxic HR department (if you call one person a department) and a completely toxic COO. Management is a team of bullies whose toxic behavior is encouraged by home office. Daily work locations can be rewarding and there are people suffering as much as you that you can connect closely with. However, the turnover rate is extremely high due to employees ultimately realizing their worth and running for the door.  You will quickly identify who within the organization actually prioritizes patient care and who within the organization  thrives within the toxic environment. Any pros to this position far under-weigh the cons of toxic culture. Do yourself a favor and continue the job hunt. This isn’t the one.

The culture that we have is great.  The company delivers great service to our patients, we live by our core values, trust, respect each other, and the company value all employees viewpoints by honest communication. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
At the moment..none.  We work as team to get the job done as smooth as possible. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly environment,  The company's culture live by core values, which I mentioned at the beginning, attentive with patient, trust, respect, and values employees viewpoints. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Every day is busy but with a smooth process

If there is anything this place taught me it was to have enough respect and value in myself to RUN at the first sign of danger and this place reeks of it. Management team only sees you as a number. You are yelled at and spoken to like a school child, belittled, and bullied. Onboarding and training process was a disaster. The hardest part of my job was seeing how overworked and mistreated my team was and learning I had absolutely ZERO power to protect them the way they deserved. Once I had enough sense to leave, my team lost their advocate. Workplace culture is completely and totally toxic. RUN. AWAY.

The culture of the company is to keep giving you more work until you can't achieve your goals. When you don't achieve your goals, be ready for the finger-pointing. Upper administration seems disconnected from what is going on in the facilities they are contracted with even though they have meetings for hours every week discussing them. One thing I learned from my short time with the company is the importance of standardization of policy among facilities. There are some great hard working people in the company, that should be recognized. The most enjoyable part of the job is making a difference in the patients' lives.

I WORKED AT A WOUND CARE CENTER THAT THESE CLOWNS PURCHASED. I HAD BEEN WORKING THERE ABOUT 1 1/2 YEARS AND THEY HAD TAKEN OVER IN THE PAST 5-6 MONTHS. ONE DAY EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL, THE NEXT DAY MANAGEMENT CAME IN AND TOLD ME THAT YESTERDAY WAS YOUR LAST DAY. DID NO ONE TELL YOU? I WAS THE MEDICAL DIRECTOR(MD) OVER THE HBO AND WOUND CARE UNIT AND HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THAT AS A PHYSICIAN OR AS A PERSON. THEY GAVE ME NO NOTICE AND NOW I SEE THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO HIRE A HBO AND WOUND CARE PHYSICIAN TO WORK THERE. I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE TO AVOID THESE PEOPLE AS THEY HAVE NO SOULS. 

Run.  You do NOT want to work for this company.  Added responsibilities and increasingly longer hours with no additional compensation.  Corrupt, uncooperative leadership.  Expect to throw out your job description after accepting the position because what is on paper is NOT what is demanded…Contract is extremely one-sided.  Expensive to quit before your 12 months is up.  90 day notice required before finally getting out of what feels like a prison.

I learned that their management and money model is about lining their own pockets
Management is narcissistic 
Benefits are horrible, they are charging for a plan that doesn’t cover much, and its only purpose is to make sure they can continue to line their own pockets.
Workplace culture: Depends where you are. Some providers are good. The great ones leave when they’re tired of the narcissists. The good co-workers get over-worked and under appreciated while the bad co-workers are kept because of numbers or because they feed into the narcissistic vibe.

Nothing, inconsistent upper management and one VP says one thing another contradictory say opposite

Run inconsistent making for more work and re-work for employees 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Hostile one VP.very angry and talks down and always yells  employees , cussing. Etc

Try to stay under the radar to keep from being unfairly treated


A toxic work environment in all clinics and corporate.
The provider will see patients with little hands-on training and without experience.
CEO and corporate office will micromanage every employee to the point of fear. 
Have seen great employees quit because their concerns were not addressed. 
CEO and corporate office care little for the clinical staff at each clinic. 
Managers have stated "If you don't like it, there's the door. 
Unethical sales team. Anything to get patients in the door.
