You are always told there are two sides to every story and I am here to tell you the two sides of Zynex Medical.

Side 1 - A great team that laughs, collaborates, communicates and above all works together to achieve a common goal.

Side 2 - A team that is constantly getting told what to do, what not to do, just bodies to fill an empty chair and no genuine interest in getting to know anyone. Team, what team? 

I was one of the lucky few who got to experience Side 1. On many occasions Side 2 would appear, but luckily because of a great supervisor and team, we made each day great, together.

That's the thing about Zynex, while I was there, many of the positions were isolating, polarizing even. Each team would do their best to be a "team" but were never able to build the bonds with each other, let alone their supervisor.

I found the best way to get through Side 2 was to work hard and work smart. Work hard, by showing your supervisor that you are willing to go above and beyond in all aspects of your job. Throw in a few hours of OT if you can. Constantly ask, "What can I do to help?" But above all, work smart. Zynex is a game, filled with players that are constantly needing assurance that they are doing the right thing. Play the GAME! In the end, supervisors want employees that do anything to make them look better and more productive in the eyes of the exec team.

If you are able to experience the "good" side of Zynex, or at least be good enough to "play the game", you are some of the lucky few. If you are not so lucky, or as "smart", try and hold out to see if it does get better. But if nothing gets better, continue to finding what makes you happy.

I can honestly say that Zynex Medical was a positive experience for me, but I have seen many, many, MANY people walk in and out of those doors who deserved better. 

My two wishes for Zynex are one, take care of your employees, as they are the ones that help drive your company forward and two, when it comes to building genuine camaraderie, no one is above or below, you are all at the same level as one another, a team.

Please do better Zynex.

The work is very simple and straightforward. It is easy to get behind the company mission, goals, and values as it is providing products & services to people who are in need of them. The culture at Zynex can be spotty. There are some people who just show up for a paycheck and then leave to go home, there are some who dislike the job but do not want to leave because they still see potential in it, and then there are the ones who show up every day looking to make an impact on the people that they come in contact with. A little of everything. Management is spotty as well, but they are always open to hear your thoughts and ideas. Doesn't mean that they will implement your thoughts and ideas if they do not seem reasonable, or if it is something that does not seem to benefit the company. Development is something that is above average as they are trying to get more people involved with developing themselves. Though even when you are applying yourself the development feels like running on a treadmill at times. You can do more but will still feel like you are not going anywhere. It's kind of like the saying, "less is more" applies here to some individuals. I wouldn't say nepotism is rampant, but there are signs that it is present. Still nonetheless, as long as you put your head down and do your work, you will be fine for the most part. There really isn't a hard part to this job as the work is relatively simple and easy to do. If for some reason you are unable to do the work, or if you found out that you are not a "good fit", then no worries. You will have to move on, and the next person will come along and take your place as the company is always looking to expand with or without you going forward. 

If I could suggest a recommendation for the company, it would be to: make sure you thoroughly investigate a situation before making a decision. Obtain all of the facts and see if a compromise can be made to resolve issues. If not then like all decisions, you may be happy with the outcome, but it can easily take a hit to morale of the company, productivity, and much more. 

I worked for them for almost two years with many ups and downs, had multiple meetings with upper management including direct supervisors and beyond to C  level positions. There have been multiple issues with the training that has been provided to associates and with the direct management responsible for the training. Some associates were made to feel insecure from asking questions by management as they snapped at trainees during training. Reports to management seems to have fallen on deaf ears and been ignored due to possible favoritism that caused promotions being provided to unqualified individuals who did not have knowledge of the job, company, or services provided. Personally I waited to review this company due to my circumstances as I was let go with no notice, no discipline plan or write ups on file, and was approaching my second anniversary with the company. The benefits were definitely the main reason for me staying with the company. The matching 401k, health plans, HSA matching were all great and the plans had worked well for me. They also provided food for both breakfast and lunch for multiple months as it boosted moral. As for the job overall it is a call center style. They separate you based off of the insurance type they need at the time. You might be crossed trained, however there is no additional pay for the additional tasks or work. You can get promoted but there are more tasks assigned to you and you are still expected to make the same amount of calls and KPIs. You SHOULD have monthly personal performance and team meetings, but they usually do not happen on time, so you are not able to review areas of improvement with the management in a timely manner. This was my experience and you may not go through the same things.

Zynex is a company striving for something greater. Despite bumps in the road, they keep going and keep trying to do better. They are happy to move employees around if one department is not a good fit or becomes to monotonous. They hang on to good employees and replace those that openly don't care to be here. which only improves everyone else's work atmosphere.
I have read some of the other reviews and probably worked here before and after these people came and went. Zynex rewards hard work and does not tolerate free-loaders. If you want to come and sit a desk to watch you-tube all day you need not apply. Maybe there is movie theater hiring? 
I started in the call center and have done a little bit of everything sense. When I asked to move departments they humored me and I have sense received several opportunities for advancement, some of which have embraced and some I felt would be better for someone else. They have always respected my decisions with no recourse other than support. They offer an attentive ear to new ideas and are happy to look into ways to improve based on employee insight, which is not something I have experienced at other large corporations.
Great benefits, great PTO, and even a bonus Wellness plan that assists with expenses that promote health such as a gym membership or massage. They offer flexible hours and an understanding for work life balance, not to mention above average starting compensation. 

In conclusion, if you are ok with actually working when you go to work, Zynex is one the best companies to apply for!

My time at Zynex has been wonderful. My first thought is always about the mission, as someone who has a family member that struggled with opioid addiction, it is nice to see a company coming up with an alternative to pain drugs and fighting the opioid addiction. The company truly believes in their patients and wants to help their patients. I have seen team mates and managers go to bat for our patients to help them with being able to keep the device since it helps them so much and they find any and all solutions they can. But not only do they care about our patients, but they also show how much they care about us as employees. My manager continues to give me feedback, let me know how I am doing, and is so supportive of me and my growth. From day 1 my manager has plans on helping develop my skills, talent, and knowledge in order to help me grow and become a strong employee with opportunities for advancement of where I would like to go. I personally love the cross training opportunities I have to learn more. My team is so supportive and is always willing to help me, there are endless resources available to me here. We recently had a team Zoom happy hour, which was nice to get to see my coworkers outside of work, I cannot wait until we get to go out as a team as well. And, I have to say customer service is just done different here. It's not like everywhere else where it is "tough luck and suck it up," it is supportive, caring, and innovative. Zynex also does a great deal with charity! There are charities every month for employees to support, and we have great opportunities to be supported to volunteer as well. Zynex is a great place to work where patients and employees matter. 

First of all I have read all the other reviews and many say there is a downfall in the overall company, but lets be real, anyone who works in the health care industry the reform has changed the entire work place. It is a challenge and you have to educate yourself to know how to work with what you have and how you can succeed. This company needs hard workers who know how to clean up a mess. I started out at their sister company we would pass by their billing department and they were always on social media cites and talking back and forth. Some of the layoffs were needed for financial reasons, others for obvious reasons. I stayed with the company through all the rough spots and I have never been more proud to say I work for them, I will agree the unknowing reality if you are ever on the chopping block is still very real but we are implementing more face to face reviews and creating a warm open door policy. I always feel like I can talk to management at any time and they listen and the always follow through. I love my second family, this is by far the best experience I have had and I can't wait to see where our growing team is going to go from here. I love coming to work, I love the people I work with, I love the management and overall I just love it. Its stressful so I recommend if you want to work here, be ready for a challenge, but with our staff its always a team effort, we are revamping the company across the board and I look forward to us progressing over the years. Plus the units are incredible, I"m using one now... and its awesome! I'm sorry for those who didn't have the same experience but I wish you all the best of luck in the future.

I worked at Zynex for 4 months as an IT Admin. The job was described to me as a great 1 person IT shop with a company that would be tripling in size over the next year. My starting pay was great I thought until my 1st day. Within 5 minutes of walking in the door I was told that the company was operating in the red and that it would not be shocking to have some services go down because they hadn't paid the bills. I should have left right away but I was up to the challenge of running an IT department on a small budget, I didnt know small was ZERO. One of those bills that was not paid was the 3rd payment to microsoft for Office, our Office key was revoked and yet the company forced me to use it. The management team would demand things like fax lines for users however again, no money. When I brought this issue up to the then COO I was told "just make it happen" After 4 months of trying to rebuild an IT department that was in shambles I got fired in the most recent wave of cuts. This is the 3rd one in recent history. The HR manger was in the process of leaving because "she couldn't go through this again" These cuts where 24hours after a company meeting where the CEO told us that the company was doing great. This was my worst job experience ever, I went on anxiety Meds shortly after leaving because I still have panic attacks that the whole experience will happen again.

I know people will write bad reviews when they get fired but Ive never been fired and all of my previous employers were sad to see me go and are still in contact with me. The company is bad news and the turn over rate should tell you EVERYTHING you need to know.

As a start, wages here are abysmal compared to other CSR roles and positions elsewhere you are highly overworked as the call center queue is very busy with very fishy billing practices being performed by our billing team.  Processes and billing changes weekly if not daily so keeping up expectations and what to tell patients is confusing at times. Productivity and numbers are pushed heavily on reps and morale is extremely low. Also there are no bonus' here for corporate employees as territory managers are more highly valued here to push DME's to physicans and clinics. There is however an exception of referring someone to Zynex for corporate employees but no financial incentives for your contribution and time here at Zynex. Work and life balance here is very unaccommodated, there is only accrued PTO and no STO nor Vacation days, if you miss work you are expected to use your PTO as there is no unpaid time here available here or to work Saturday if you do not have enough PTO avaliable to make up for the time you were not in office. Benefits are pretty meh, I did learn however a lot about medical and insurance billing along the way and I enjoyed my colleagues and managers which made this job bearable and made lots of meaningful connections throughout my time here but if you are looking to grow there is a lot of favoritism and cliquiness here so good luck. Also, all the five star reviews are paid for with either Z-Bucks (haha) or 5-10 gift cards so beware of all the five star reviews listed on here and Glassdoor.

When I started a little over a year ago, it was a great company to work for. The CEO was interviewing all new hire candidates and it actually felt like the company cared about the patients. It was also a great work environment with great coworkers. But when management changed, things immediately became bad. They moved parts of the Zynex team into a new building and put a huge barrier between departments. The communication between management and employees in horrible. If you ask the COO how to do a task that you are assigned, she might just say, “work around it.” And then you will get in trouble for not doing the task correctly even though no one will clarify how to do it right. The management decided to change everyone’s schedules and make everyone work weekends, which no one agreed with. All of the employees pointed out that working the weekends will just make us more short staffed during the week but management does not care. After working my butt off for a whole year I got no raise, just a pat on the back. Orders are increasing rapidly and they refuse to hire any more people while the CEO/founder lounges in his yacht, private jet or one of his sports cars. Also the supervisors are known for constantly lying to employees. The wage may seem nice but keep in mind that you will likely not get a raise and the management is just absolutely terrible.

I really wanted to love this company. At first I woke up everyday, excited to be a part of combatting opioid addiction. Then I saw the gross underbelly of the company.

To start, the CEO is incredible. He really believes in what he is fighting for. The pay is decent. Schedule and benefits are great.

This is what you see in the first few months. 


Upper management is a nightmare. I’ve never worked at a place that micromanaged so much, yet still never seems to know what’s going on. There is no patient transparency, unethical billing practices, and blatant hipaa violations. If you want a good idea of what it’s like to work at Zynex, read some of the company responses to bad reviews. There is always an excuse to not take accountability. When I brought these things up to management, it was either ignored, or justified with “we’re understaffed”. This is a company that rewards “yes men” and despite how frequently they insist you give them feedback, they only want the good feedback, and any negative feedback will be met with an excuse. There’s no communication between departments, casual misogyny is rampant. You will often do the work of 5+ people (because employees get tired of the company and quit in droves) and you will receive no appreciation. Also pay raises are non-existent. 

When you have a company that gives you great benefits, a good schedule, good pay, yet still has an absurd turnover rate, it speaks for itself.
