I worked here as a customer service rep for 10 months, and by far the worst place I have ever worked. 
The training is awful, you don’t learn a thing about how to do your job and get thrown in with the expectation you know what you are doing. You can’t get the help you need while on the floor so people tell customers different information making for very angry calls. Their policies change all the time and make no sense, the supervisors aren’t even updated on what they mean most of the time. 
You have to work off the clock for 15 minutes a day every single day, this has been brought up to the company but it is being ignored. The managers disrespect the employees and refuse to listen to them. They won’t even bother listening to the supervisors about policies that will help the company. 
The systems don’t work half the time and make things more confusing. You get no time between calls so if there isn’t enough time to leave notes one the account that’s needed, you either leave it as is and face the consequences or have to add them in on your break or after your shift. 
I do not recommend working here, most people do training for the two weeks and quit right away because the training makes no sense and no body knows what they are doing. My own training class started with 30 some people and ended with 5, now that i quit only 1 person remains. Your breaks are so weirdly managed and the company has 0 trust in the employees. While on the floor you have access to absolutely nothing on the computer, you can’t even try to look some stuff up to help customers cause they have everything blocked. 

Terrible IT systems that crash repeatedly .  If you need help and have a customer on the line no help desk.  You are on your own.  All of Management takes smoke breaks together about 10-15 times a day.  Terrible payroll system.  You’re expected to stay over your shift which is illegal and fill out 2 separate time sheets for the day.  Dress code is ridiculous for a call center.  No hoodies, no tennis shoes, no leggings.  You pay a low wage and expect people to dress like a bank.  Odd.  No paper or pen policy.  Cannot have access to your phone or even your purse to take meds.  Have to ask to go to the restroom, take a break, or a lunch.  The lady that runs the place is the rudest person I’ve ever met.  She should be fired.  No teamwork mentality and half the time you’re a man on an island alone.  Oh and don’t take the healthcare.  They don’t contribute and it’s worse that self insuring.  No college reimbursement, no nice benefits. The common response is we’re s start up.   There’s no rah-rah mentality here.  Take as many scripted calls as you can that’s the purpose.  Be ready for irrational shift changes every few weeks.

As soon as you walk through the doors here it’s complete chaos, their computer systems are awful, management is horrible and training isn’t even training. You’re thrown onto the floor without learning a thing. There’s 1 week of training and they don’t even cover their computer system for half a day. It’s extremely unprofessional and their management will promise a certain shift in your interview and then completely go against their word once you start. I feel bad for the clients, because their problems are not being taken care of adequately, and most of their go clients are on ss or disability so it feels very wrong and almost as if they are being taken advantage of. Their is no real compassion or training on speaking with clients and customer service, you’re basically being taught how to lie to these poor people who are already technologically illiterate. Bottom line this company is a joke and you either have to be super desperate or really cruel to stay here considering how awful the work environment is. Maybe if they could keep a manager or and HR rep for longer than a month they could go somewhere but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. 

New to Omaha, Nebraska, i2c inc. is in an exciting growth phase. Though we are small, we are mighty. Each day provides opportunities to collaborate and make a difference. From my experience, we are valued, encouraged, and challenged in a positive way. I could not imagine a better group of people to work with at a company that cares. Additionally, everyone is nice. We are collaborating with counterparts in Lahore, Pakistan and Montreal, Canada, regularly. During this time, we have all made invaluable friendships with a variety of individuals, as we work towards supporting one another and the company. It's a breath of positive fresh air, and I consider myself very lucky to be a part of such an amazing site, team, family, and company. #i2cincOmahaSTRONG!

If you want a job that you can basically never get fired from, and enjoyed the phone systems of the early 90’s this is the job for you. Terrible communication of changing SOPs with even worse basic support team. Rigid guidelines on using the restroom while having to leave all valuables in your vehicles or have locked in office that takes finding someone with keys to open to get your phone or tampons, but no consideration for the 12 minutes it took to get your belongings because after your 15 minute break you had to beg for the past hour you basically have 3 minutes to go to restroom, fill your water bottle and now you have an occurrence. 

After working here for a little over a year, I will say, working here isn't great but its not horrible. The job you do is repetitive, talking to people day in and day out. I consider the base pair  decent ,you start at 16/ hr. There is differential pay so those who work overnight do have a little bit higher of a higher base pay. You do get a set schedule and set hours, PTO accumulates day 1, 2 breaks and a meal break, dental, health, vision and a 401K. There are lots of deer in the area. 

What can get frustrating is policies, procedures and standards change constantly. The whole building feels dirty, despite having custodial service multiple times a day. The training doesn’t truly prepare you for how things are on the floor. You don’t get an assigned seat. There is not an sort of security around, “patrol” only comes every couple of weeks. Food deliveries are difficult here. 

Terrible, lazy management who run a very childish, high school like atmosphere. The floor is made up of cliques. There’s a group of people that have been there since inception who always get special privileges. Promised raises for a year. Was told they’d revisit that to start 2023. Well come 2023, they start laying people off instead. Threw people out like trash on a Friday morning when they reassured people for months they had enough work to go around. They failed to tell of us that they lost a very big government contract. The “seniors” or supervisors knew of this all long, if you stay late enough they’ll babble on about company secrets and meetings. Nobody wants to pick up this circus. Don’t do it; but not like you have a choice. This company is going under before long.  

Over the past year, 80% of the employees in my role have either quit or been fired. In that same time, our workload halved due to the loss of a major client.
This still totals to us doing more work than before the majority of my coworkers leaving.
In that same time, my coworkers and I have been trained and are expected to do a variety of new tasks.
Due to these new responsibilities and increased workload, combined with the rising cost of living in my area, I asked my managers if there were any plans in any kind of pay raise and I was informed that there were no plans in the near future for any paybump.

It has been three years since the base pay of this company has been increased, and a year since I personally received a pay increase. The pay increases received in the past have been mediocre and unable to keep up with the rising living costs of the area.

I2c will train other for an extensive amount of time when they have time. Other times you are given a 15 minute slide show and are expected to be an expert on the subject, you will also be fire if you don’t over exceed with the little amount of training given. Often times you will be trained in answering emails or inquietes by someone who has no idea about what they’re doing. I2c has very poor communication skills, you will be told one thing by a supervisor or manager but HR will not be on the same page. Not to mention all the system failures and having to ask the angry customer to call back after already being on hold for 3 hours. Most employed hired are martyred and rude to customers. Would not recommend 

I2C Inc is a new company to Omaha, NE, but they are not a new company. The joke here is that it feels like a start up but isn't, which is truly the case. Training is all over the place and feels rushed but once you get on the floor its quite simple. The scheduling process after training feels quite unusual as well. If you remember that this is a new company to Omaha its understandable as they are trying to figure out what works and what doesn't. Being flexible is a MUST with this position as you can have any kind of shift due to shift bidding.

One of the companies biggest client is a government contractor so security is a big thing. No hoodies, No big coats, no phones, no papers, no pens.

All in All i see the positives in this company and I can't wait to see what growth brings
