Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Server / FOH Team Member and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding guest service, taking and processing orders accurately, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests while supporting the smooth operation of the restaurant. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a lively, fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements as a host/hostess or during busy service times
Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism and flair, ensuring guest satisfaction
Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems
Upsell menu items like drinks, desserts, or specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling, beverage service areas, and dining spaces
Support food preparation, bussing tables, and managing guest relations to ensure a seamless dining experience

Experience

Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
Experience with cocktail making, wine knowledge, spirits, and beverage service is a plus
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
Ability to perform basic math for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling tasks
