Join Our Accounting Team!

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to make an impact in a dynamic financial environment? We’re looking for a motivated Accountant I to join our team and support critical accounting operations that drive our organization’s success. In this role, you’ll manage accounts payable, support financial reporting, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end processes - making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and contributing to a collaborative team.

What We’re Looking For:

Accounts Payable

Process and review invoices, ensure timely payments
Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger
Resolve discrepancies and prepare adjustments
Manage sales and use tax filings

Bond Accounting

Record and reconcile investment activity (purchases, sales, income, gains/losses)
Track pledged securities for public funds
Partner with third-party vendors

Reconciliations

Perform DDA and bank account reconciliations
Balance correspondent GL accounts

Reporting & Compliance

Assist with ALCO reporting and month-end close
Support financial reporting processes
Ensure compliance with controls and banking regulations
Safeguard confidential information

What You Bring:

Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
Accounting experience or related coursework preferred
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt
Banking system knowledge is a plus
