Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence. As the face of the hotel, you will drive revenue growth, foster a positive team culture, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality management. Your leadership will inspire staff, enhance guest satisfaction, and ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of our resort-style property.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to deliver outstanding guest service.
Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue management opportunities and optimize profitability.
Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated and high-performing team.
Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits.
Maintain operational standards by monitoring front desk activities, multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and guest services to ensure seamless communication.
Oversee budgeting processes, financial reporting, and cost control measures to uphold fiscal responsibility.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards while fostering a welcoming hospitality environment.
Coordinate night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions accurately.
Implement effective human resources practices that support employee engagement and professional growth.

Experience

Proven supervising experience in a hospitality or hotel management setting with a strong track record of leadership success.
Extensive hotel experience with comprehensive knowledge of hotel management operations including guest services, front desk management, and resort amenities.
Demonstrated expertise in revenue management strategies to drive occupancy rates and increase profitability.
Strong background in hospitality management principles with an emphasis on customer service excellence and guest relations.
Familiarity with budgeting processes, financial analysis, and cost control techniques within a hotel or resort environment.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests and staff members.
Experience in human resources functions such as staffing, training programs, performance reviews, and employee relations is preferred.
