Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Business Manager/Project Manager/Accountant to manage all aspects of our family office. This individual would oversee all aspects of multiple, varied projects and overall financial health. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee business and personal initiatives for a high net worth family. Ability to manage complex projects, and ensure sound financial management. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving success across multiple facets of a diversres range of business and personal projects. Extremely flexible hours with work from home options. Must live within a 90 mile radius of Glenwood Springs CO, willing to be on-site when necessary, be extremely self sufficient and able to work independently without supervision, have exceptional project management and accounting skills.

Responsibilities:

Oversee, facilitate and coordinate all financial & accounting activities and personnel

Set controls and budgets to mitigate risk and increase return on investments

Manage all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL,

Manage legal Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition

Support the month-end and year-end close process

Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques

Conduct internal audits to assess financial status

Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations

Serve as primary contract for Accountant, Attorney, Investment Advisor Firms, Ancillary Investments, Real Estate Contracts, Real and Personal Property Insurance, Health Insurance Procurement/Oversight, Personnel Benefits, Personal Loans, and Associated Collateral, as Well as Payroll and Contract Labor Oversight

Qualifications:

Accounting or Finance degree (BS/BA/MBA)

Previous experience in accounting, business/project management, and/or Family Office management or other related fields

Diverse experience across industries

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Strong leadership qualities

Strong Communication Skills

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Excellent Project Management Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Paramount to success is the ability to meet deadlines and have meticulous follow-through skills along with self-sufficiency and self-starter skills

Experience in construction, and/or property management (Preferred but not required). Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically and make decisions independently, work independently while following instructions, and achieve expected, timely and positive outcomes.

Ability to multitask is a must.

Must be flexible with business hours and switching from multiple projects without falling behind and/or missing deadlines.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in a senior operational role, preferably as a COO or in a similar capacity, ability to multitask and keep track of varied projects, investments, and bookkeeping subsets.
Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to think strategically while managing operational details; expert ability in QuickBooks. Seamlessly manages multiple projects with varying complexity with diverse outcomes. Ability to seamlessly coordinate a wide range of projects with multiple timelines and outcome objectives.

· Strategic Implementation: Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives. Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the organization. Ensure robust internal controls are in place.

· Process Improvement: Evaluate existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization, implementing best practices to enhance productivity.

· Budget Management: Manage operational budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
