Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver and Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to deliver goods, as well as assisting with warehouse operations such as loading, unloading, and inventory management. Your proactive approach and commitment to safety will ensure smooth logistics operations and excellent customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your driving skills while gaining hands-on experience in warehouse functions, all within a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws
Load, unload, and secure cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Deliver goods to customers’ locations utilizing route driving skills, adhering strictly to scheduled timelines and traffic regulations
Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, stock organization, and moving materials within the facility
Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch or customers
Ensure safe lifting practices during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and warehouse activities for operational efficiency

Qualifications

Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation
Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with box trucks preferred
Delivery driver experience demonstrating reliable route driving and adherence to traffic regulations
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper manual handling techniques
Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries and interactions with clients
Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial truck driving and weight handling in the workplace
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
