Full Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and software development sector, is seeking an AI + SQE Automation Architect (TX, NC) to join their innovative team. As an AI + SQE Automation Architect (TX, NC), you will be part of the Quality Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: AI + SQE Automation Architect (TX, NC)

Location:Plano, TX and Charlotte, NC

Onsite interview required

What's the Job?

Define and maintain enterprise Quality Engineering architecture strategy, standards, and technology roadmap.
Design scalable automation frameworks supporting UI, API, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing.
Develop AI-enabled quality engineering capabilities to accelerate test design, defect prediction, and quality insights.
Establish architecture patterns for AI-assisted test impact analysis and application dependency mapping.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards and best practices.

What's Needed?

Deep expertise in quality engineering architecture, test automation frameworks, and application integration patterns.
Proficiency with AI-enabled development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and emerging AI-powered testing solutions.
Experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and cloud-native architectures.
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python, and data validation techniques.
Ability to lead architectural reviews, establish governance models, and mentor engineering teams.
