Full Job Description

Line Cook — Full-Time or Part-Time

$17–$20 per hour | Shift meals | Employee discount | PTO for full-time employees

Join the kitchen team at Myrth, an Italian restaurant in Ada led by James Beard Award–winning chef Paul Berglund.

Our cooking is guided by the seasons and shaped by ingredients grown by West Michigan farmers. We make wood-fired pizzas, handcrafted pastas, and thoughtful Italian food in a restaurant that combines casual sophistication with warm Midwestern hospitality.

We are looking for experienced line cooks who take pride in their craft, work well with others, and want to grow as part of an ambitious and supportive kitchen team.

Full-time schedule: 2 p.m. to close, five days per week

Part-time schedule: 4 p.m. to close, two to three days per week

What You’ll Do

* Cook and execute menu items with consistency, care, and attention to detail

* Develop your skills in wood-fired pizza and handcrafted pasta

* Prepare ingredients and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation

* Communicate clearly and work collaboratively during busy services

* Support your teammates and contribute wherever help is needed

* Follow recipes, systems, and food-safety standards

* Bring curiosity, professionalism, and a desire to improve each day
