WHAT YOU MAY DO Duties depend on the role selected and may include:
- Create or support developmentally appropriate learning experiences for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, Pre-K students, or school-age children.
- Maintain a safe, clean, inclusive, engaging environment and provide active supervision throughout the day.
- Support children’s social-emotional, language, literacy, mathematical, physical, and cognitive development.
- Prepare lessons and materials, observe and document progress, maintain required records, and communicate respectfully with families.
- Follow Ohio child care licensing requirements, health and safety practices, company policies, curriculum expectations, and center procedures.
- Lead and mentor classroom staff, coordinate schedules, manage records, support enrollment and family service, or oversee quality and compliance in leadership and office roles.
- Prepare meals, maintain sanitation and cleaning routines, or safely transport children and complete route, attendance, and vehicle records in operations roles.
- Collaborate with coworkers and center leaders, participate in training, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- A genuine commitment to the safety, care, development, and success of children and families.
- Reliability, professionalism, patience, positive communication, teamwork, and sound judgment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent for most entry-level roles; additional education (CDA or a degreed credential), or experience will be required for lead, director, administrative, or specialized positions.
- Child care, teaching, recreation, leadership, office/HR, food service, cleaning, or transportation experience that matches the position selected.
Entry-level candidates may be considered for appropriate assistant or support roles.
- Willingness to complete required background checks, pre-employment documentation, training, and certifications for the selected role.
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it when required.
- For driver applicants: a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the selected position, with reasonable accommodation when applicable.
SCHEDULE, PAY AND BENEFITS
- Job types: Full-time and part-time opportunities; in-person work at the selected center or office.
- Typical center coverage: Monday-Friday (Limited Saturday shifts are available at some centers) shifts may fall within approximately 6:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
- Split shifts may apply to driver positions.
Pay: (Hourly)
- Teacher Assistants ($13-15)
- Lead Teachers ($15-19)
- Driver ($14-17)
- Education Director ($18-25)
