About Us

Would you like to learn about psychedelic assisted therapies for free and make a wage of $50-$75 per hour (based on experience).

Neuro-Behavioral Clinical Research is a forward-thinking behavioral health and research organization dedicated to advancing evidence-based treatments for mental health through innovative clinical trials. We are currently conducting groundbreaking studies involving psychedelic-assisted therapies (including psilocybin, MDMA, and related compounds) for conditions such as depression, PTSD, and anxiety.

We’re seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) to join our interdisciplinary clinical research team.

Position Overview

The Licensed Therapist will serve as a key member of the clinical trials team, providing therapeutic support to participants before, during, and after psychedelic-assisted treatment sessions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in trauma-informed care, psychotherapy, and a genuine interest in emerging treatments for mental health.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct participant screening and psychological assessments for clinical trial eligibility.
Facilitate preparatory therapy sessions to build trust and readiness for psychedelic sessions.
Serve as a sitter/guide during dosing sessions in compliance with study protocols.
Conduct integration therapy sessions to help participants process their experiences.
Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and adhere to research and ethical standards.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, study coordinators, and research staff to ensure participant safety and data integrity.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development related to psychedelic research.

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted LPCC or LISW license in the state of Ohio.
Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
At least 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals with depression, trauma, or anxiety disorders.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
Comfort working in a research environment and adherence to study protocols.
Interest and/or prior training in psychedelic-assisted therapy or integrative psychotherapy preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Work Location: In person
