Full Job Description

Job Overview
HomeDeliveryLink provides a range of residential delivery and logistics solutions for world class retailers such as Mor Furniture for Less, La-Z-Boy, Ashley, Costco, RH and many others. Our fast-growing team is made up of sharp, energetic team members with a "can-do" attitude and a strong work ethic.

We are currently seeking a numbers oriented individual to join our Accounting team to calculate payments for contracted furniture and appliance home delivery carriers. Requirements include strong Microsoft Excel skills including experience working with templates and macros, strong mathematical skills and attention to detail, and recent experience with processing accounting data and payments in Intuit QuickBooks. Regular, dependable attendance is required, as well as a proven ability to meet challenging deadlines. Strong oral and written communication skills are also essential.

Responsibilities

Receive and review daily and weekly data files from field based associates.
Address problems and requests from corporate and field offices.
Calculate contract vendor payments due.
Process standard contract vendor deductions and adjustments.
Record payments and deductions in QuickBooks accounting system.
Participate in regular department and full office team meetings, training and discussions with supervisors and company administrators.
Must be able to maintain productivity in a team environment, through independent work with a minimum amount of supervision.
Cross training on multiple accounts and contracts is required.
Additional office responsibilities may be assigned. Flexibility and prioritization of responsibilities is expected.

Skills

Proven experience in an administrative support role or other relevant position.
Software literacy including MS Outlook and intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel (execution of macros is a required skill).
Attention to detail and good faculty with numbers.
Proficiency in English (oral and written).
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
Active listener with strong communication skills.
Sound judgement, critical thinking.
Applies ethical business practices and behavior.
