SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this Budget Analyst position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-9) in Federal service. Specialized experience includes utilizing accounting practices and procedures to monitor research project budgets to include staffing and expenditures; communicating budget status via reporting; identifying errors; and supporting human resource functions to recruit and retain personnel. SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENC: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, three (3) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. Receiving Service Credit for Earning Annual (Vacation) Leave: Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee.
