Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, from guest services to financial management, fostering a welcoming environment that promotes guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Your leadership will drive the success of the hotel by implementing strategic initiatives, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about hospitality management and dedicated to creating memorable stays for every guest.

Duties

Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to enhance guest experiences and optimize efficiency
Oversee revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and profitability while maintaining competitive pricing
Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated team
Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction
Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to meet financial goals
Maintain compliance with safety regulations, licensing requirements, and hotel policies to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff
Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to promote the hotel’s services and attract new clientele
Handle complex guest relations issues with professionalism, ensuring positive resolutions that foster loyalty
Supervise night audit procedures and oversee front desk operations including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette

Qualifications

Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising responsibilities
Strong background in hospitality management, revenue management, and guest services
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams across multiple departments
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, human resources, and hotel operations including front desk management and night audit processes
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem resolution
Knowledge of hospitality software systems, multi-line phone systems, and resort operations is preferred
Previous experience in a resort or similar hospitality environment is advantageous
