Full Job Description

Job Summary:

We are a group practice of psychologists based in Ardmore, Oklahoma that provide psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, psychoeducational evaluations, and neurofeedback to clients across the lifespan. Our team is committed to delivering evidence-based practice through multicultural inclusivity.

Texoma Psychology Group is seeking a licensed psychologist or postdoctoral fellow with experience in any or all of the following: psychological evaluations, psychoeducational evaluations, school based behavioral consultation, school-based special education eligibility evaluations, examinations for Social Security Administration, Compensation and Pension evaluations for vendors associated with the Veterans Affairs, and psychotherapy to join our group as an independent contractor. This role will involve providing comprehensive evaluations and treatment to individuals across the lifespan, as appropriate based on training and competence.

Responsibilities:

- Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy in accordance with appropriate treatment plans

- Administer and interpret testing tasks in conjunction with a comprehensive psychological/psychoeducational evaluation

- Write reports from administration of psychological/psychoeducational evaluations

- Collaborate with parents, referral sources, and/or school personnel in conjunction with evaluations that are provided

- Integrate legal and ethical-decision making practices throughout role as treatment provider and/or test administrator

- Consult with professionals with the group or other professionals as necessary

- Attend meetings with the group practice as necessary

Requirements:

- Must have a doctoral degree in counseling, clinical, or school psychology from an APA-Accredited program

- Health Service Psychologist licensure in the state of Oklahoma or completion of APA-accredited internship for postdoctoral fellow applicants

- Experience in psychotherapy, psychological/psychoeducational evaluations, and/or disability examinations for Social Security Administration/vendors for the VA

- Commitment to implementation of ethical guidelines and laws that govern the practice of psychologists

- Ability to work with individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds

- Knowledge of special education practices

- Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults

- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism
