Full Job Description

Summit Dermatology & Aesthetics is a fast-paced, high-performing dermatology practice seeking an experienced medical front desk professional who thrives in a structured clinical environment.

This is not an entry-level position. Prior medical office experience is required.

We are building something exceptional and are looking for a team member who holds themselves to a high standard of professionalism, organization, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Professionally greet and check in patients
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
Answer and manage high-volume phone lines
Schedule appointments accurately and maintain provider calendars
Insurance verification and benefits review
Process prior authorizations
Collect copays and outstanding balances
Ensure accurate documentation within EMR
Maintain organized patient records
Support providers and clinical staff with administrative needs
Maintain a polished, calm, and welcoming front office environment

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience in a medical office (dermatology strongly preferred)
Direct experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations strongly preferred
Proficiency with EMR systems (ModMed experience a plus)
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail
Professional appearance and communication skills
