Receptionist

Position Summary

At Maple Ridge, we are committed to creating a welcoming, supportive, and collaborative community where residents, families, and team members feel valued. As the Receptionist, you are the first point of contact for our community and play a vital role in creating a positive first impression through professionalism, compassion, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Guest Services

Welcome residents, families, visitors, vendors, and community partners with a friendly and professional attitude.
Provide continuous front desk coverage during scheduled hours and coordinate coverage when necessary.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls promptly while taking accurate messages.
Assist visitors with check-in/check-out procedures and ensure all visitor policies are followed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area and lobby.

Administrative & Office Support

Perform general administrative duties, including filing, copying, scanning, mailing, and data entry.
Provide clerical support to various departments, including payroll and administrative functions.
Monitor office supply inventory and coordinate ordering to maintain adequate stock levels.
Assist residents with call systems, service requests, appointment scheduling, and general inquiries.
Support special projects and additional administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer applications.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Experience with multi-line phone systems and office equipment preferred.
