Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting all commercial activities related to existing and new business opportunities. This position serves as the primary liaison between customers, engineering, production, purchasing, accounting, and corporate sales to ensure customer requirements are met while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. The Sales Coordinator oversees quoting activities, engineering changes, contract administration, service parts, tooling invoicing, pricing updates, and customer communication while supporting Vuteq Alabama's strategic growth initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare accurate quotations for new business opportunities utilizing engineering drawings, customer specifications, and manufacturing cost information.
· Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Corporate Sales during quotation development.
· Support engineering change quotations and cost recovery initiatives.
· Maintain customer pricing, quote revisions, and engineering change documentation.
· Monitor customer deadlines to ensure timely submission of quotations.
· Assist with annual price adjustments and cost reduction activities.
· Support new product launches and customer program changes.
· Promote Vuteq manufacturing capabilities to current and prospective customers.
· Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
· Maintain positive working relationships with customer purchasing and engineering personnel.
· Process customer RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, and pricing updates.
· Coordinate service parts quotations and order processing.
· Monitor customer requirements and communicate changes internally.
· Maintain accurate customer records and commercial documentation.
· Support customer scorecards and performance metrics.
· Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining professional relationships.
· Coordinate tooling invoicing and tracking.
· Assist Accounting with customer invoicing questions.
· Maintain pricing information within ERP/AS400 systems.
· Track open invoices and assist with collections when necessary.
· Prepare monthly sales reports and commercial activity summaries.
· Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered
Job Qualifications:
- 2–5 years in automotive manufacturing preferred
- Customer service or account management experience.
- Sales coordination, cost estimating, quoting, or program management support.
- ERP/AS400 experience preferred.
- Toyota supplier experience preferred.

Occasional travel (approximately 5–10%) for customer visits, Vuteq facilities, supplier visits, training, and corporate meetings.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
