Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Recruiter (Talent Acquisition Specialist) to support the growth of our Athens financial services office. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying, attracting, and onboarding high-quality candidates for careers in financial planning and wealth management.

This is a high-impact recruiting role with a clear growth path into leadership, making it ideal for professionals with experience in recruiting, sales, business development, or relationship-based roles.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Recruitment & Talent Selection

Build and manage candidate pipelines through referrals, networking, and community engagement in the Athens area
Identify and attract top talent using digital sourcing, referrals, and professional networks
Conduct initial interviews and candidate screenings
Administer and interpret assessment tools as part of the selection process
Coordinate follow-up interviews and meetings with leadership
Represent Northwestern Mutual at Athens-area networking and community events
Deliver a structured, professional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding

Collaboration, Strategy & Operations

Partner closely with office leadership to execute recruiting initiatives
Maintain accurate candidate records using recruiting and CRM software
Track and analyze recruiting metrics to improve hiring outcomes
Support new hires as they transition into their roles
Assist with recruitment reporting, leadership meetings, and strategic planning

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly
Prior experience in recruiting, sales, staffing, HR, business development, or networking roles preferred
Well-connected in the Athens business or professional community
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and recruiting/CRM tools

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $45,000 – $70,000 (based on experience)
