Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Clinic Front Desk Receptionist, where your energetic and organized approach will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you will manage patient scheduling, handle medical administrative tasks, and ensure seamless communication between patients and clinical staff. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in medical office management within a fast-paced dental practice.

Duties

Greet patients warmly, verify appointment details, and assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
Schedule appointments efficiently using CareStack dental practice management software
Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and provide exceptional patient service with professional phone etiquette
Collect payments
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies
Assist with intake procedures, including verifying insurance coverage and updating patient information in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Support administrative tasks such as filing and data entry

Qualifications

Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially following HIPAA guidelines
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable
Prior clinic or medical office management background is advantageous but not required
