Licensed Insurance Agent – Life, Health or Property & CasualtyJob Overview

Empower Insurance Group is seeking motivated, experienced, and results-driven Insurance Agents to join our growing team in Austin, Texas.

In this role, you will use your insurance knowledge, sales experience, and communication skills to connect individuals, families, and business owners with coverage options that meet their needs. You will build strong client relationships, generate new business, and help clients protect their health, income, property, businesses, and financial futures.

Responsibilities

Generate new business through networking, community outreach, referrals, telemarketing, and other sales activities
Speak with prospective clients to understand their personal, family, or business insurance needs
Conduct detailed needs analyses and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
Present Life, Health, Property and Casualty, Supplemental, Group Benefits, or Commercial Insurance products
Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and ongoing communication
Follow up with leads, current clients, and prospective customers
Explain policy benefits, coverage options, costs, and limitations clearly and accurately
Negotiate and review coverage options while following all applicable insurance regulations and compliance requirements
Maintain accurate client, lead, follow-up, and policy information within the company’s CRM system
Complete sales and administrative duties using Microsoft Office and other company systems
Meet or exceed individual sales and performance goals
Work independently while contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

Qualifications

Active Texas Life and Health License, Property and Casualty License, or both preferred
At least two years of insurance industry or insurance sales experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
Excellent customer service and follow-up abilities
Ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate solutions
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable conducting outbound calls and participating in telemarketing campaigns
Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Must be dependable, self-motivated, coachable, and driven to succeed

Not Licensed Yet?

Candidates are responsible for obtaining their Texas insurance license. The estimated licensing cost is approximately $200. We can provide information about the licensing process and offer access to a discount code for an approved study program.

You must be committed to completing the licensing requirements before beginning licensed insurance sales activities.

Compensation

This is a commission-based position with additional bonus opportunities.

Earning potential is based on individual performance, production, and eligibility for available bonuses.

Work Location

Remote insurance agent opportunities are available for candidates based in or connected to the Austin, Texas area.

Call center positions are full-time and in-office at our Austin location.
