Overview

Join our dedicated Environmental Services team as an Environmental Services Housekeeper, where your efforts directly contribute to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This vital role ensures that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, supporting health and safety protocols across our facility. If you are energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining a pristine environment, this opportunity is perfect for you! Responsibilities (All trained on Site)

Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas using approved cleaning agents and equipment.
Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces, floors, fixtures, and medical equipment in compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines.
Execute floor care procedures including sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a safe and attractive environment.
Restock supplies such as paper products, hand sanitizers, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for staff and visitors.
Follow established protocols for infection control and environmental services to support hospital safety standards.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisory staff for immediate resolution.
Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and safety procedures during all cleaning activities to promote a safe workplace for everyone.

Skills

janitorial or custodial experience is not required
Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while working independently or as part of a team.
