Post-PT Personal Trainer → Medical Exercise Specialist

Elite Medical Exercise isn't a typical gym, and this isn't a typical training role.

We work with adults of all ages and abilities who want to stay strong, capable, and independent for the long haul. That looks different for every client: a 70-year-old training to backpack again, a woman working on bone density and osteoporosis, someone learning to move confidently after a spinal fusion, a cattle rancher who needs his body to hold up to physical work, a guy in his 40s stabilizing his joints so he can keep playing the sports he loves, a woman managing shoulder and neck pain who just wants to carry groceries without wincing, an 80-year-old training for the Senior Olympics. What connects all of them is progression — proof that strength and capability aren't a young person's game.

If your idea of a great training session only means chasing a PR or prepping someone for competition, this isn't the right fit. If it's watching a client hit a goal they thought was behind them — at any age, at any starting point — this might be exactly the right fit.

We're looking for a Post-PT Personal Trainer who wants to grow into a Medical Exercise Specialist — someone who's curious about the "why" behind movement, not just the "what," and who wants to be moldable early in their career rather than set in one way of training.

What You'll Do

Learn and apply Medical Exercise principles — a method developed by PT Dr. Michael Jones as a bridge between post-rehab care and traditional fitness — to help clients safely work with and around physical limitations.
Blend Medical Exercise with FRC (Functional Range Conditioning) principles to support joint mobility and long-term function.
Build individualized programs based on each client's history, goals, and range of motion.
Deliver warm, attentive coaching that meets clients exactly where they are.
Pursue required certifications (we cover the cost) as part of your growth into a Specialist role.
Build genuine relationships with clients and guide them toward the services that best support their goals.

What We're Looking For

Background in personal training, kinesiology, clinical exercise physiology, cardiac rehab, or a related field.
Genuine interest in working with a varied client population across ages and conditions — this is not an athletic-performance-only training role.
A hunger to learn: our best trainers are curious about anatomy, biomechanics, and the medical side of exercise, and are motivated to pursue certifications.
Warm, patient communication style and a natural relationship-builder.
Team-first mindset with a good sense of humor.
