Associate Title Clerk – FM812 Branch

Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour

In this role, you'll be the go-to person guiding clients through their title and registration needs, keeping every transaction accurate and compliant, and turning what could be a stressful errand into a smooth, positive experience. We're a fast-growing small business with a branch on FM812 in Austin, TX. We provide DMV and County services such as issuing license plates for trucks, cars, motorcycles, and more. We're licensed by the county and state but fully independent, and we take real pride in making the title and registration process painless for our customers, check out our hundreds of 5-star Google reviews to see for yourself.

Responsibilities

Guiding clients through the title and registration process: Serve as the main point of contact for customers during title and registration transactions, explaining the title transfer and registration renewal processes clearly and confidently.
Processing automobile registrations and title transfers: Ensure accuracy of documentation and adherence to legal requirements, working closely with relevant government agencies to keep things moving quickly.
Being an expert in the field: Stay current on title and registration laws, regulations, and industry best practices, and share that knowledge with colleagues and clients.
Maintaining rigorous standards of excellence: Bring a keen eye for detail, precision, and thoroughness to every task, following established processes to keep quality consistently high.
Creating a positive, memorable experience for every customer: Build genuine relationships, meet needs with professionalism and empathy, and go the extra mile to exceed expectations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus
Previous experience in the automotive industry, specifically with title and registration processes, is preferred
Customer service experience: 1 year (required)
Google Suite experience: 1 year (preferred)
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer data entry skills and the ability to navigate multiple computerized information systems
Adaptability, flexibility, and strong attention to detail
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Valid driver's license (required)
Able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time (40–45 hours per week)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, plus alternating Saturdays (4-hour shift, required)

Location: 9707 FM812, Suite 4, Austin, TX 78719 (in-person; must be able to commute or relocate here)
