Full Job Description

Job Overview
The Wound Care Program Director (PD) is an integral member of the wound care and hyperbaric medicine center and collaborates with Wound Sync's administrative and physician executive team, the center’s medical director, and the clinical nurse manager to ensure the center meets its performance expectations and retains resources necessary to operate an efficient, successful wound care and hyperbaric medicine program.

The PD is responsible for executing the overarching educational and awareness strategies of the wound care and hyperbaric center to community stakeholders. The PD will work cross-functionally with the wound care center and other designees to identify and cultivate relationships with community providers, other ancillary healthcare organizations (e.g., FSEDs, urgent cares, home health agencies, SNFs, LTACHs), and hospital-based departments (e.g., ED, Hospitalists, Interventional Cardiologists/Radiologists) promoting the clinical capabilities and clinical advantages of the wound care and hyperbaric center as well as the necessary services needed from these ancillary resources to ensure an effective community based limb salvage program.

Duties

Ensures the clinic’s adherence to Wound Sync's acuity-based scheduling template, daily clinic patient assignments, and staffing guidelines.
Serves as the liaisons between Wound Sync and the community.
Manager and leader for all non-provider personnel in the center.
Develops an annual stakeholder education and informational plan.
Develops and maintains a community stakeholder relationship database along with a systematic approach to identifying the appropriate call cycle as well as identifying new entrants and/or stakeholders.
Assists with the content creation for educational and informational materials.
Presents to community stakeholders the merits of the center.
Prepares informational packets for community stakeholders education.
Prepares monthly reports updating all educational initiatives.

Education and Experience Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree either in nursing or other health related field is required, a master’s degree is preferred.
Experience developing community stakeholder assessments and education plans.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service and follow-up skills.
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Organization and time-management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications
