Job Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Laundry Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently processing all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry items. Your dedication to maintaining a spotless environment will contribute directly to guest satisfaction and the overall excellence of our hotel operations. This paid position offers an engaging opportunity to develop your skills in laundry and cleaning services within a vibrant hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines to clean linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing efficiently.
Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling and care.
Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialized garments as needed, following all safety and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces to uphold hygiene standards.
Follow established procedures for handling guest laundry requests promptly and accurately.
Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Qualifications

Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal.
Ability to operate commercial laundry machinery safely and effectively.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control in cleaning processes.
Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as needed.
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols related to laundry operations.
