Mental Health Therapist – Psychiatry Practice

Join Our Growing Behavioral Health Team

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient psychiatry practice. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with psychiatric providers in a supportive, patient-centered environment dedicated to improving mental health outcomes.

Position Overview
The Mental Health Therapist will provide counseling, therapeutic interventions, patient education, and care coordination for individuals experiencing a variety of mental health conditions. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Experience working in behavioral health, psychiatry, or a related mental health setting preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team
Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and behavioral health best practices

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments and assist in developing individualized treatment plans
Provide supportive counseling, psychoeducation, and therapeutic interventions
Monitor patient progress and document clinical encounters accurately and timely
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals
Assist with care coordination, referrals, and community resource connections
Promote patient engagement, recovery, and overall wellness
Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, ethical standards, and practice policies
