We are transforming Slice of Italy into SLICED, and we need culinary creators who are as passionate about the art of the perfect bake as we are. This isn't just a kitchen—it's a workshop for artisanal pizzas and elevated pasta dishes in the heart of Downtown Bakersfield.

If you live for the perfect crust and the rich aroma of a simmering scratch-made sauce, we want you on the line.

The Culinary Mission

At SLICED, we’ve moved beyond the basic. Our new menu focuses on high-quality ingredients and technical precision:

The Pizza: We specialize in full-sized artisanal pies. You’ll be working with specific dough weights and a refined baking process to ensure every crust is airy, crisp, and consistent.
The Pasta: From classic comfort to modern signatures, our pasta program is a core pillar of the new menu. You’ll be responsible for executing vibrant, made-to-order dishes that elevate Italian-inspired cuisine for the downtown crowd.

Your Role in the Kitchen

Master the Sauce & Dough: Execute our secret-weapon recipes, from our signature pizza sauces to our house-blended aiolis, ranch, and specialty dressings.
The Line & The Hearth: Manage the pizza station and the pasta pans with speed and precision during our busiest rushes.
Prep with Pride: Ensure every ingredient is prepped to spec, maintaining the high standards that define our new identity.
Catering Craft: Scale your skills to help deliver high-end catering experiences for local events and office gatherings.
Kitchen Integrity: Maintain a spotless, organized station where food safety and efficiency are the top priorities.
