Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts at the Bangor Aviator Hotel, in Bangor, Maine. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead business development initiatives, cultivate strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies and exceptional customer service. Your leadership will inspire the sales team to achieve targets, expand our market presence, and deliver memorable experiences to our guests. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and possess a passion for outside sales, management, and B2B relationships, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Duties

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attract new corporate clients, event planners, and travel partners in the hospitality industry.
Lead and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed revenue goals through coaching, training, and performance management.
Identify new business opportunities by conducting market analysis and leveraging technology sales tools such as Salesforce.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients through proactive account management and negotiation skills.
Coordinate marketing initiatives to promote hotel amenities, packages, and special events that appeal to target audiences.
Conduct regular sales presentations, site visits, and business development meetings to showcase the hotel’s offerings.
Analyze sales data and customer feedback to refine strategies, improve service delivery, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Experience

Proven success in outside sales, B2B sales, or hospitality management with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a sales team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with technology sales platforms such as Salesforce or similar CRM tools for tracking prospects and managing accounts.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
Ability to analyze market trends, develop strategic plans, and implement innovative marketing tactics.
Experience in business development and account management within the hospitality or related industries is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
