Front Desk Coordinator - TRAINING PROVIDED

Premier Vision | Houston, TX | Full-Time
Starting at $19+/hour + Team Bonus Opportunities

Premier Vision is looking for a polished, personable Front Desk Coordinator who thrives in a busy environment and knows how to deliver exceptional, 5-star service.

This isn’t a traditional receptionist role. We’re looking for someone who combines strong organization and composure with the warmth and service mindset you’d expect from high-end hospitality or luxury retail.

Optometry or medical experience is a plus, but not required. We can train you on our systems.

Position at a Glance

Starting at $19+/hour based on experience + team bonuses
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM–2:30 PM
Saturday availability required; receive a weekday off when scheduled Saturday

Who We’re Looking For

Great service experience can come from many industries. We welcome candidates from optometry, medical, dental, aesthetics/med spa, hospitality, luxury retail, and other high-service environments.

You may be a great fit if you:

Have 2+ years of front desk, patient-facing, or high-volume customer service experience
Communicate exceptionally well in person, by phone, and in writing
Genuinely enjoy helping people and creating a welcoming experience
Stay calm, polished, and professional under pressure
Are organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable multitasking
Learn technology and new systems quickly
Are receptive to coaching and enjoy working as part of a team

Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred. Optometry, medical office, and OfficeMate experience are a plus.

What the Job Is Really Like

Premier Vision is a busy optometric practice providing vision and medical eye care, glasses, and contact lenses.

At any given time, you may be welcoming a patient, answering a ringing phone, responding to a text, coordinating with the clinical team, and keeping an eye on the schedule.

You must be able to prioritize quickly without sacrificing accuracy, professionalism, or the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Create a warm, professional first impression for every patient
Manage check-in, check-out, scheduling, and payments
Answer phones, texts, emails, and patient questions professionally
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Help maintain an organized and productive doctor schedule
Coordinate patient records, contact lens orders, and referrals
Work with doctors and teammates to keep patient flow running smoothly
Maintain accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and patient confidentiality
