Full Job Description

LINE PREP + FRY COOK

Fire Away Roadhouse & Rest Camp is growing again, and looking for a dependable, hardworking kitchen team member who knows how to set the crew up for a great service and keep the line moving when the heat is on.

If you take pride in a stocked, prepped, clean kitchen, work well with a team, and aren’t afraid to hustle when the tickets start flying — we want you!

Primary Responsibilities

Daily prep, portioning and stocking
Fry station execution during service
Assist other stations as needed
Maintain clean, organized, stocked work areas
Follow recipes, portions and plating standards
Proper handling, labeling, FIFO and sanitation
Maintain necessary kitchen equipment
Closing and Kitchen Cleanup

We'll hire someone who brings loyalty, resilience, communication, teamwork and reliability to the kitchen and takes food safety and sanitation seriously.

Regular Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, approximately 3 PM–9 PM or close.

More Hours Available: Opportunities for additional hours may include banquets and events, catering, special menus, ghost kitchen concepts and our community food rescue/freezer meal program.
