Registered Nurse (RN) – Wellness, Longevity & IV Therapy
Base State Longevity | Aspen, Colorado
About Base State
Base State is a modern longevity and wellness studio in Aspen, bringing together evidence-based medicine, advanced wellness therapies, and restorative practices under one roof.
Our established services include IV therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infrared sauna, cold plunge, red light therapy, compression therapy and massage. We’re also expanding our clinical offering into personalized longevity medicine, including comprehensive diagnostics, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, GLP-1 programs and other preventative health services.
We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who is excited to be part of that growth while delivering exceptional clinical care and a warm, high-touch client experience.
The Role
This is nursing outside of the traditional hospital environment. You’ll primarily provide IV therapy, blood draws and other clinical wellness services while helping create the warm, high-touch experience Base State is known for.
As we continue to expand our medical and longevity offering, you’ll also have the opportunity to work alongside our medical team and gain experience across areas such as advanced diagnostics, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, GLP-1 programs and personalized preventative health.
We’re looking for someone who is clinically confident, exceptional with IV placement and comfortable working independently. You should genuinely enjoy interacting with clients and be curious about preventative health, wellness and longevity.
This is also a great opportunity for a nurse who wants to move beyond traditional bedside nursing and grow with an evolving wellness and longevity practice. While this is a clinical role, we operate as one team. You should be comfortable jumping in and helping wherever needed to keep the studio running smoothly.

- Create a warm, professional and personalized experience for every client
- Help clients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit
- Communicate clinical information in a clear, approachable way

Who We’re Looking For
You’re a confident, experienced nurse who combines excellent clinical skills with warmth and genuine hospitality. You’re calm under pressure, have strong clinical judgment, and are comfortable working independently. You understand that exceptional care is about more than performing a procedure — it’s about how someone feels throughout the experience.
Strong IV skills are essential for this role. We’re looking for someone with established experience who is confident placing peripheral IVs independently, including more challenging sticks, from day one.
Ideally, you have:
- Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license
- Excellent IV placement and venipuncture skills
- Previous acute-care nursing experience; ER, ICU or similar strongly preferred
- Current BLS certification

- Confidence recognizing and responding to adverse reactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Tech-savvy and willing to learn our operating systems
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member
- A genuine interest in preventative health, wellness and longevity
- A warm, polished and professional approach to client care
- Flexibility to work weekends and during Aspen's peak seasons
Previous IV therapy, infusion, functional medicine or wellness experience is a plus, but not required for the right nurse.
