Service Department – Boutique Dealership Specializing in German Vehicles

Are you a seasoned sales or service professional with a knack for operational excellence? Are you a service advisor looking for your next career step? A Technician wanting to jump inside the desk? Our boutique dealership is seeking a Service Department Manager to lead our high-touch, high-performance service team. We specialize in BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche, and pride ourselves on delivering a premium experience to every customer. This Job reports directly to the Operations manager and works a key element to the front of house team.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional customer satisfaction
Act as the point of contact for outside vendors and service providers
Manage technicians, and support staff with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
Utilize Tekmetric to its fullest potential for workflow, reporting, and customer communication
Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal departments
Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements to drive profitability and service excellence
Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership policies
Submit and track maintenance records for internal rental fleet.
Help maintain customer service quality threshold across all dealership channels

What We’re Looking For:

Proficiency with Tekmetric is a must, Identifix proficiency and parts ordering thru XL Parts and Worldpac is preferred
Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with attention to detail

Bonus Points:

Prior experience in a boutique or luxury dealership environment
Proven experience with German vehicles – especially BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche
ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training
Familiarity with digital inspection tools and modern service workflows
Familiarity with the Turo Platform
Experience Handling Warranty Claims
